For pretty much months now, I haven't been able to get Crunchyroll to stream without it freezing once or twice an episode. I tried switching from Chrome to Firefox, and though it improved, I still have issues. Then I added some extensions to help my Firefox run better. It worked for stuff like Youtube, but it barely improved for Crunchyroll. I tried downgrading to 720P and I'm not even sure that makes a difference. People could say downgrade further, but I kinda pay 6.95/month to stream at higher qualities. I love the shows I can get on here, but the freezing is too annoying for me, especially when places like Funimation (Even though it has a smidge of video corruption for a second) and Youtube don't give me any problems at 1080P or 720P.

If there are any suggestions you guys can give me to help my streaming experience, it would be really great, however I don't feel like this is something that is my fault, and I hope Crunchyroll can find some way to improve the service.

Disable video smoothing / also disable Hardware acceleration in the Fkash player setting .Right click on the video!

BTW I use the pop- out player if it does stall then if that stalls close and hit play on the original video it wiil be close to where you stop.

Important have thec show in queue1

It seemed to work well for a while but it froze at the end of the episode. Plus, disabling the video smoothing makes everything really pixelated.

Do not disable smoothing as long your pc is good enough to play HD
Try changing your DNS ....OpenDNS should be fine
(On chrome)
Enable NPAPI
Disable default flash chrome plugin
Enable macromedia flash plugin
restart

I think I'll try to use OpenDNS with Firefox, if that doesn't work, I'll try Chrome again. Is there anywhere I can find steps on how to use OpenDNS?

Yes. Changing Dns takes a while. Try both, google and opendns. Don't forget to report it by using the support option, you're not alone but they must know it. It's annoying!

I've been looking up how to enable NPAPI and can't find it, along with the other stuff I should do for chrome. Also, Firefox has been working better for me in terms of streaming in general. Hopefully changing these settings with Chrome will better it.
