thats because japanese dosent translate perfectly to English as it goes with all languages, so they make it as similar as possible

i dont see the problem

"early bird" doesnt strictly mean waking up early



the japanese used was informal and so the english translation in turn is unsurprisingly informal as well

If you really think they're acceptably similar, you need some serious English lessons.

Being excited in the morning isn't nearly the same as waking up in the morning. That doesn't even make any sense.

I've seen the phrase "Itadakimasu" used for at least 6 completely different meanings. The strangest one was when a character said it and it was translated as "let's go". I honestly can't tell if its wrong or if it really is possible for a single word to have so many meanings.
