No.

Radical Feminists: Omg that video game character has boob physics! That character in that anime has a big bust! Holy shit they're making cartoons based off their fantasies of women, those sexist mongrels!

Men: We like women! We even like the bubbly kind or the kind that cook for us too, not just the ones that kick ass!

Radical Feminists: Bubbly? This woman is stupid you have used her as nothing more than a sex object!

Men: Actually we like her personality, there's all kinds of women, not just the masculine type...We're not acting on our hormones and making you uncomfortable, we just have them!

Radical Feminist: Yeah I see that, why did you design this character in such a skimpy outfit!? She's a slut and you sexually objectified women again.

Men: What, but I though-

Radical Feminist: You can't show cleavage on on your characters for your own sexual gratification, they're breasts! It's slutty to have them in those skimpy outfits.

Men: I could try more clothes...sorry, I didn't mean to say women we're less than men, just attractive.

Radical Feminist: Good now free the nipples

Men: wait...what? I thought breasts were too sexual!?

Radical Feminist: I SAID FREE THE NIPPLES WE ARE THE SAME AS MEN, NOT JUST EQUAL. #FREETHENIPPLE MOVEMENT

Men: I'm so confused right now.

So there are a number of threads discussing sexism already, and one claim that keeps cropping up. "We shouldn't sexualize women. The sexual objectification of women is bad."

For the record sexualization is "to make something sexual in character or quality, or to become aware of sexuality" and sexual objectification is "the act of treating a person as an instrument of sexual pleasure" (from the respective Wikipedia articles).

But wait, are those really bad things? Don't we need to see our partners in a sexual light and treat them as instruments of sexual pleasure in order to procreate? Isn't sex (usually) a good thing we should want more of? Perhaps asking us to repress our biological imperatives is a bit silly.

No.
No. Do you know what it means to objectify someone?
See them no more as an object.
Sexual objectification is seeing someone no more than a sexual object.
You probably don't actually love your partner if you sexually objectify them (the bed don't count if it's consensual though)

You have a good point, but it just comes down to personal preference(which should probably be something between you and your partner)
It's not really anyone else's business

They wanna have a popular thread like I did.

Also since this site is like 70% male, topics on sexism is one of the best baits.

no and anyone who says it is; should fuck off.

Getting so tired of seeing these threads on the forums that I have actually been avoiding coming onto crunchyroll except to update my profile.

When did crunchyroll become a meeting ground of such prudes?

It seems like all these threads pretend as if men are not sexualized what so ever and if they are its "not as bad as when its a woman"

People need to stop acting like such goddamn special snowflakes. No one is being hurt by anything, and if they feel like less of a person because of it then they should stop being such thinned skinned baby's.

Give me a goddamn break.

Both these

everyone is too sensitive.

Get to the point where I don't care if your offended

Oh, goody. Here we go yet again.

No. I just wish it was more of an equal playing field, if you know what I mean.

You think my intention in making those threads was to gain popularity?????
?????
Well, I'm pretty popular alright.
Getting bombarded by meninists, MRAs, MGTOW's, stupid/ignorant people in general...
Yeah this was all intentional.

I don't think it is necessarily bad. I don't think nearly anything is necessarily bad. It all depends on the context and the circumstances. Can't usually just look at one thing and say the entire thing is assuredly bad.

Wasn't really directed to you, but while I'm here...you did kinda word it in a way that left the reader to assume it as bragging ^~^
