Wow, so many chapters have been added since anyone last commented on this. Trials and tribulations abounded, too.

Do we have any idea when we can expect more chapters? I know there was a hiatus but that ended quite some time ago and I think the manga is on its final stretch if it hasn't already ended. So how come we're still stuck on chapter 81 here? I need to know what happens next

Crunchyroll moves in mysterious ways.

Checked Wiki, if Crunchyroll has all the collected books up to now, next release is in April.

Actually the Manga reader here is way ahead of the print editions Kodansha is putting out. It's also far ahead of what Kodansha is offering through Comixology. I'm starting to wonder if Crunchyroll isn't simply losing the Manga market to paid services where readers have to buy each issue. Kodansha seems to have gotten the idea that they can charge the same price for digital releases as they do for the print editions so maybe the CR premium membership no longer suits their interests?

I love this manga so much because I feel like it represents a lot of how otaku feel as opposed to the fictional reality or most animes. The character were likable and silly. Tsukimi was such a great character because she was so beautiful, inside and out. Kuranosuke was so inspiring because he was so different and seperate from his family. I love the fiction and the mix of reality with it.

Update: the manga does have more chapters. Chapter 82 was released in June and #83 was released like a week ago. They're available on Comixology, I don't know if CR is going to get them or not.

----------------------------------------------------
So chapter 81 is actually the final chapter. It just felt so much like the beginning of a new arc, I didn't realise it was over till I found the contents page for volume 16 which is the final volume.

I'm still curious though about what happens next. Who knows, maybe she'll want to revisit this one day and tell us more about Tsukimi and the Amars.
