Due to complications with my highschool I've been kinda separated from people for about a year, In that time I became very attached to technology, so my question is, would any of you consider yourself consumed by technology, and is it bad?

I'd have to say being addicted to things is natural, Since we are humans that are prone to being alive and things that keep us alive like Food, Air and water would in a sense be a natural addiction as versus non natural means of addictions like beer, drugs and cigarettes that harm our bodies. Now technology is a tool we use at our discretion, And yes it is possible to be addicted to it from being entertained as a pleasure it excites the wholeness of the human brain.
As for who I am yeah i may seek the internet as hiding grounds since i don't have friends, nor do I seek life outside as often unless it suits my needs.

I don't think I'm consumed by technology, when I go on holidays... I rarely use any... because I get so tired from sightseeing and stuffs. I just fall asleep on the hotel bed.

But at home, my life does revolves around tech.

This is my bedroom, I have a ps4 console, a mini hi-fi system, and a pack of Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake on the desk xD. (I honestly think I'm more consumed by desserts than anything else).

I feel you've become "separated from people", because you choose to. I mean...I do the same sometimes. I don't think it's right to blame a tool or medium on how it "consumes" you. You are your worst enemy. Also, by technology, what are you specifically talking about? What i'm getting from this is that you've been researching up and messing with tech related stuff like a mad scientist and it's affecting your social life because you're getting hella into it? o,o.
...I'm pretty sure most of us have already been "consumed" or have integrated technology into our lives at some point...I think it's gud.

Nope, however I do use the current technology to keep in touch with a very scattered family. The smoke signals just weren't making it to New Zealand.

I'm not sure you can say this person is separated from people because they choose to be. OP is 15 and if there are complications with high school it could be that they haven't actually attended high school for the last while and they have no way to contact the people they went to school with. Now if they were in their college years I'd have a different outlook, but I know when I was that young and if I had been cut off from people due to some sort of complications in life, it wouldn't have been that simple to just go see them especially with how quickly friendships can deteriorate at that age from not having talked in a while.

Technology would probably just spit most people back out, so be glad about it.

The closer we get to technology, the closer to a real Matrix like scenario we are.

And I'm okay with that, honestly.

Yep, and I have no damn problem being hooked on technology.

My life was miserable when I was worrying about being normal. Going out is overrated for me. It's alright once in a blue moon. Haven't hung out with a friend in about 2 years and I'm happy as fuck with my online buds.

Though I will note exercise still totally necessary.
