Hey Guys, My name is Daniel and i have been wanting to learn how to draw manga like a pro, but i dont know where to get started. A lot of people say different things like start by drawing the face or the eyes or the body, some people say start with life drawing which is what i have been doing so far drawing gestures mostly. But what do i do after drawing gestures? I would love to get some advice, maybe some of you know how to draw manga already and would give me some steps to follow.

Your description seems a little vague. Have you been taking any art classes? The best way to start and to strengthen your ability to draw is to attend art classes. The internet can only teach you so much, and without a proper scale to teach you what to do next, it is rather difficult to draw like a pro at such a short time. My advice to you is to sign up for any art classes around your community or join any clubs (if you go to school or uni or whatever), anything to help you improve bit by bit.

I did take an art class 2 years ago in highschool, we did some volume stuff (drawing apples and other objects) and then some life drawing ( painting the vase and fruit xD ) I do believe that all they teach in school can be found online i dont just believe so i know so. The problem is im not confident in what i should be working on first. I have a little plan sorta but not sure if its any good, you tell me.
Start by drawing gestures after im done with that i was thinking of moving on to anatomy and filling a sketchbook with drawings of arms, legs, and chest to get the proportions down and the muscles. After im done with that ill probably move on to drawing the head (Probably the most annoying part of this whole journey) different angles, sex, and age. And then ill probably just start drawing complete bodies using a gesture website online. By the end of that i think i should have an okay grasp of whats going on at least with the human body and what not. But thats all real life drawing ... I guess after that ill get some artbooks from good anime and copy their drawings to learn some basic anime stuff... what do you think? Sound like a good idea or should i change something in this plan.
Thanks for the reply by the way appreciate it.
