A church made of jelly and rainbows with marshmallow seats, and the service consists of passing around gummy bears and chocolate milk.

Or just lots of naked ladies dancing around.

Or maybe I'm missing the point.

The only thing I pray to are the gods of RNG. If there were a church that gave me better odds, I'd be down.

A church in which people don't spread gossip about fellow church-goers or get all nosy about your affairs. A church in which people don't put on a facade; they act the same in church as out of church.

It's extremely annoying when all I hear is: "How is your walk with God?" And then I'm asked uncomfortable questions while people pretend they are so holy.

One where they would just tell you to go home and not waste your time.

You summed it up all perfectly.

I would add a church that doesn't have cliques. I recall a family friend telling me about how at his brother's church( think he said his brother) visiting couple came and were not acknowledged. You know how at church there is the time where the members greet each other and the visitors. Well apparently none of the members acknowledged the visiting couple. After the service the pastor went over to the couple and apologized. I also personally get the feeling of being isolated just because I'm not overly involved in my church. I sometimes feel like I'm somewhat being judged by other members if i haven't gone in awhile.

A church that actually doesn't turn people away.........Yeah I hear the Come as you are thing, but have heard how some churches wanted certain people out. I recall talking to a server at a restaurant. One time at his church the staff got on a discussion about a youth who was gay. One lady wanted to get rid of him, but the server guy I was talking to was like "Uh no you are missing the point of the whole come as you are".

I also like churches where the pastor at least speaks with some sort of enthusiasm....helps keep me awake. lol

Also would be nice if a church calls before showing up to my house for the fellowship stuff they do.Well it's just a small group that shows up, but still would really like them to call first. Do other churches do that too or just mine?
