I'm sure this have cross many of our mind on whether if we should upgrade to Window 10 on July 29th (Release day) Or wait for few months till they get most Bugs fixes.

I'm happy with Window 7, there a saying if you're happy with the one you got, don't upgrade it.. otherwise you might regret it.

If I have decided to go ahead installed Window 10, I'll stick with Firefox, and play around to get familiarize with Window 10 new feature. I'm glad they're sticking with Window 7 Start menu feature.. I'll give Microsoft Edge (Supposely replacement of Internet Explorer) a try, its 64 bit and supposely fastest web browser around, and I read that the security isn't top notch compared to Firefox and Chrome and among others feature. But will switch back to Firefox.. XD

I found a website saying 9 Reason to not Upgrade to Window 10 yet..

http://www.computerworld.com/article/2945195/microsoft-windows/9-reasons-not-to-upgrade-to-windows-10-yet.html

Heh, the First reason is kinda of silly because it said

1. Your system can't run it

This may seem obvious, but sometimes it's the obvious that gets missed. In order to run Windows 10, you need a PC or tablet with a 1GHz processor or faster, 1GB of RAM for 32-bit machines or 2GB for 64-bit machines, 16GB hard disk space for 32-bit machines or 20GB hard disk space for 64-bit machines, a DirectX 9 or later graphics card with a WDDM 1.0 driver and an 800 x 600 display or better. For more details, go to Microsoft's Windows 10 specifications page.

I'm assuming this is least of our worry since everyone got better Computer than the one meantion up above. :p

Anyway, I'm curious what your thoughts on Window 10 upcoming Upgrade? Are you planning on upgrading them on First day? I may wait few week or months to see how it goes.

Personally I'm going to wait it out. For a start, when a new OS launches, it often launches with a few bugs. There's nothing on WIndows 10 that I so greatly crave that I can't hold off for a while, and what's more is it'll likely be improved when/if I do upgrade to it.

I've been using windows 7 for so long that I'm going to upgrade day one just to get something new to play around with. Bugs are a given ofc but if you can use it to browse the web than that's enough for me.

The only thing about Windows 10 I've seen that convinced me to get the upgrade is the new start menu design. I currently have Windows 8.1 and I can assure you it's annoying as hell when I accidentally hit the windows key. It's even more annoying when I'm trying to find something.

I've got Windows 8 right now and I've got Windows 10 for free, so I'm gonna upgrade and try it out. If I don't like it, I've got other OS cds laying around so I'll just switch back to Windows 8 or 7.

I'm staying windows 7. I don't need any metro or touch screen capabilities in my windows. Windows has also hinted at having a subscription service so there might be a monthly fee to use/upgrade windows 10 but they haven't implemented it yet.

I'm looking into using Linux mint as my new OS. It's a linux version that has more of a windows feel than windows 8/10.

I had Windows PX for 12 years. I was perfectly happy with it. Then micro soft decided to stop servicing XP systems By April 2014 anymore which would cause problems for XP users. I was thinking , "Lord, I need a new computer. but I don't have the money to buy one." Then last March one night the transmitter thing on the power line connect outside our house broke, causing a power serge in our house which fried my trusty old computer. The power company bought me a brand new computer with windows 8 from Office Max. I love Windows 8, but now micro soft is coming out with Windows 10. I signed up for the free download. I figured I should go ahead and get it to stay up to date. plus it is free and I am poor.

You have a year to install it. which is good. I'm going to wait awhile before installing it because I know there will be some bugs. That's Why they're giving it out free. They want some guinea pigs to test it on.

I'm sure by next May they'll have the bugs out. So I'll upgrade then.

I remember when Microsoft did a auto update on my lap top. Went from 8.0 to 8.1. Everything went to hell, thank the gods for good backups. Had to reinstall from the back up and then hunted down the update and killed it.

I remember reading about how the auto update to 8.1 could go bad, but that doing it from a disk would be better. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be a free upgrade.

My concern at the moment is...will choosing Window 10 Pro be good idea? Since my is Window 7 Ultimate. I keep telling myself that Window Pro should have everything Window 10 Home have.. Like top graphic for movies, Video Game.. It showed that if I have Window 7 Ultimate, I should chose Window 10 Pro..

Would be nice if they got Window 10 Ultimate :p.

They said that if you don't like Window 10 that soon, you can roll back to previous version with no problem.. But I read somewhere that some Users were unhappy with that.. Since their computer messed up after doing roll back! =0

So definitely backup before installing Window 10! I'm pretty sure I'll do the backup this time, most of the time I'm normally too lazy and keep telling myself that everything will be GREAT! haha

Edit:

I read that the Testers are now using the latest Released of Window 10, Which we'll get on July 29th.
