Totally. Easier said than done. >.< I'm still working on it. Thankfully I graduate in December and won't have to take an exam ever again (hopefully). The concept of grades just really freak me out.

And I'm just gonna say Thank god Hallelujah because my professor just emailed me my grade. I got an 86 on the midterm which is awesome. And now I'm a little suspicious that he's on CR hahahahaha

That would be interesting. lol Congrats on the 86 though!

None of my professors grade anything over blackboard and they are supposed to be Computer Engineering & Computer Science professors. Why wouldn't they above anyone else be posting grades? I guess some professors feel they are above letting students know where they stand. Rather, they would like to give you a shocking grade at the end and then and only then will you know if you actually passed the class or not.

"Hey class, you have an hour and a half to do this exam, but it should take you no more than an hour if you actually studied and came prepared."

The professor is boss. Also, if you studied why would you need to check your grades? I only check my grades when I think I might have done terrible

I had this one prof last semester who would not update our marks at all. Honestly no one in our class had any idea what their mark was going into the exam, and because of that we all pretty much agreed to get the exam over as quickly as possible then just go to the office and complain about him. Well at the end of it all I somehow managed an 87 so I didn't really care that much at the end of it but I know for sure he is never coming back to teach at my university.

Thanks! And it would make my day to find a professor on CR. It's awesome when that happens. My Corporate Finance professor last semester is on Drama Fever and we fanned about Kdramas during an exam XD

That's true. But I have horrid anxiety about exams. My parents have always been super strict about my GPA. Like one of the worst things to happen was when individual assignment grades started to get posted online for parents to keep track of their children. Yeah, I think it's good for parents to be involved...but mine were a little insane about it. When I get a 95 they ask "What did you get wrong?" ....not "Good job, I'm proud."...and when my grade is below a 95 they freak and tell me that I'm right on the bubble of potentially getting a B and how I could ruin my grade.

Just record it if the lectures actually help and you can go about panicking for whatever reason.

Well yeah.... but personally I no longer tell my parents about my grades after I entered college.

My parents didn't grew up in the same environment as me, they think once you get good grades everything in your life will be set. They don't know about job training, they don't know about volunteering, they don't know about internships, shadowing, career development. I suggest you focus less on gpa and more on internship and experience. Once you graduate, you'll look at that piece of paper and think "now what?"

I hate that! They usually wait until the end of the semester and it pisses me off. I had a professor like that last semester. He didn't use any form of communication whatsoever and was terrible at getting back to you.

Man, I wish...I'm in college and they still want to know my exact grades.

And tell me about it. I'm working and I have an internship and I'm taking 21 credit hours next semester. And my parents still want that 4.0 GPA. Like..."don't let work effect your grades" Ha.....riiiight. But yeah, experience is better than a good GPA. No one cares about the difference between a 3.0 and a 4.0...maybe at first, but not when you're older. Experience trumps education.
