Admit it. Whether you agree with his views or not, Donald Trump is a pretty entertaining man. So entertaining that HuffPost even moved him from the Politics section of their news to the Entertainment section. You read that right. If you're looking for Donald Trump news on HuffPost, you'll find it in the same place where you'll find news about the Kardashians and Bieber.

Love him or hate him, it's hard not to laugh whenever his name appears in the news. This thread is to discuss whatever you want that's related to Trump. His crazy actions, how his presidential rivals respond, the stuff that comes out of his mouth, etc. If all you want to talk about is his hair, that's fine too!

Just in case an argument breaks out, please remember to keep the conversation as respectful as possible. I made this thread simply for fun, not to start a heated political debate.

Oh man, but what fun is a thread without heated political debate about Trumpy.

Sometimes I really wonder if he even knows what the hell he is saying.

I move for this thread to be deleted. Donald Trump does not deserve his own thread.

I doubt it, but that's what makes him so hilarious.

The fact that he's leading the GOP nomination polls makes this even more entertaining. Apparently they really want Clinton to win.

B-b-but the central focus of the Trump campaign is and has always been to generate exactly those sort of conversations in order to raise the profile of his candidacy. That's his plan. He upsets people, they talk about him, and every minute of air time spent interviewing him to see if he'll take back this comment or that, every moment you spend talking about him in this thread, every drop of ink printed about him is one not dedicated to speaking to his competitors. His name is the one that you'll recall most clearly when polling time comes around, because he's who's been talked about on television and radio broadcasts. He's who periodicals have been examining.

This. Is. Planned. All of it.

after the McCain debacle I'm of the mind that Trump's entire presidential campaign is just him shitting himself for attention. He's basically just howling like an ass for a bit until he gets booted out. Until then though he's demonstrating to me that perhaps Ted Cruz isn't the worst choice for President after all. This realization distresses me something fierce.

But what could be more amusing than watching people take Trump seriously? They could make a t.v. sitcom based on this guy and air it on Comedy Central.

I really have to wonder to myself at this point: how much of his high polling figures are just people wanting to see his monkeyshines at the Fox News debates, how much is just his keeping name recognition high, and how much is just trolling pollsters?

In other words, I sincerely doubt that anyone is actually taking him seriously.

I just think its funny that people who take him serious point to his business savvy, but they fail to mention he filled for bankruptcy in 2009
lol I fear for my future if he is elected.

I don't vote because the whole system is rigged due to special interest groups. I mean Clinton is pure evil and while I don't know as much as bush's history, i am sure it is just more of the same, a politician who lies to become president and uses his new power to pay off all the rich people who got him there.

At least trump is rich enough to say and do what he wants, rather than what his non-existent backers would want. https://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/contrib.php?cycle=Career&cid=n00000019
Would trump be a bad president? yes, but not worse than yet another bush/Clinton.
