What do you thing are the most frightening of six legged creatures? Spiders, centipedes, and millipedes don't count because they have more than six. My two choices would be the Bullet Ant, found in South America (and recently becoming the subject of a scene in "Antman"), the largest ant in the world know for its nasty bite and the Giant Asian Hornet, a monster of a stinger that could best be described as a rattlesnake with wings. I know you'll find warning sings of the later in Japan and possibly other Asian countries (their responsible for quite a few deaths too).

All the scary ones I've seen are ones with more than 6 legs though... Anything with 6 legs or less isn't scary.

I guess I'll just say hornets and wasps. When it comes to hornets and wasps, it's either kill fast or run fast. Otherwise you're screwed. I hate it when wasps fly in through my window.

Bullet ants are cool, but their too big to defend themselves against smaller variety of ants. The Giant Asian Hornet and camel spider are scary.

Bot Fly - I hope that I will never encounter one of these.

Mostly found in Central and South America.

It’s basically a parasite that transmits its eggs onto horseflies or mosquitos. Once transferee lands on your body,

For me it's the Japanese giant hornet. Normal wasps are bad enough, but I watched a documentary on these one day and it was horrifying.

But come on, they have nothing on spiders.
