when you are in love you are ready to face the world, surpass every trial, and most of all you are willing to give all your love with the other person without asking anything in return.

Love....is so difficult to define, it envolves numerous feelings...I mean being in love with someone can bring you hapiness but also sadness...I don't know exactly how to define it but what I know is that once you REALLY fall in love life becomes different and things get a new meaning (I know it sounds corny but usually people who are in love talk like that )

Hmm. Well, most of the people posting in here are just a bunch of kids. This being said I think it is safe to assume that most of them have also diluted themselves into thinking they’ve been in love but in reality they’re just hormone driven and emotionally immature/confused.

This being said, as a 16 year old I have never personally been in love. To be honest I don’t think I know anybody who truly has been in love. People these day confuse love with obsession, affection, lust. Hell even jealousy, insecurity, and wrath are being confused for love.

Maybe this is just the beautiful naiveté of youth, and I can’t say for sure because I’ve yet to experience this part of life for myself, but I think probably 99% of the people who claim that they are in love are brain washed, lying, manipulating, or mistaken.

I believe that the reason we see so much divorce amongst people who swore they loved each other is because they did not truly love each other. They enjoyed one another’s company. I believe that if you love somebody you wont be able to see faults in them.

I actually have good reason, beyond optimism, for believing this last bit. Bipolar runs in my family, and although I do not have it I have been known to suffer from manic episodes and chronic depression; moreover, I’ve had an incredibly unhealthy fight with rage.

This being said these emotions have lasted as long as I’ve allowed them. I’ve gone as far as to be trapped in a tirade of my own making for as long as a month. This being said I do know that emotions can and do completely consume reason.

Well, I can’t be sure about any of this, but that’s my theory. Whatever the case, I warn you all against taking advice from teenagers about love. Not all of us are emo but every last one of us is emotional. Especially the girls.

Call me sexist but that’s true. Girls mature mentally and physically faster than males, but there is no question males mature faster than females as far as emotions go. People just don’t like to admit it.

Whatever the case teens are just that. Teens. They’ve only lived a certain amount of years. More than twelve but less than twenty. This being said they have not had the chance to completely mature emotionally. Not being completely mature emotionally means they cannot comprehend emotions and do not know how to react to them properly. This causes confusion.

Because in this day in age nobody seems able to admit faults in themselves and/or their groups (Muslims deny that their religion preaches hate, Christians deny that their religion preaches against homosexuality, Mormans deny that their religion is racist, women deny that their sex is beaten out by the male sex when it comes to fighting skills, men refuse to listen to -facts- about how the female brain is stronger than the male brain, blacks don’t like to hear that their race is responsible for most of the racism against them that circulates now, whites don’t like to admit that (in America) life is natural easier for them and thus they are culturally spoiled, ext.) They deny this.

They convince themselves that they know what something is, when in all reality their clueless. (Some things can only be understood through experience.) Because they think they’re mature and don’t want to admit that they’re still childish they pretend to be in love like adult, and they act so well that they even convince themselves that they are in love.

Adults, however, do this too. Women convince themselves their abusive husbands love them. Men that their cheating and gold digging wives love them.

That’s my take. It wandered off topic, and for that I am sorry. I'm just glad flaming is against the rules.

Well I guess all I can say is love can blind the truth.

Cut yourself in the wrist, what do you think? Or, tie yourself to a rock, and try moving, then you'll know.

You feel on top of the world, like you have the world on the string, sitting on a rainbow, and nothing else seems to matter except you and your special someone. I remember love made me feel so confident, like i could do anything, as though anything could be possible as long as she gave me that adoring look. I could go on n on with all the cliché about how love is great, blissful, ecstatic, etc, but you get the picture: just great!
