I do the same XD Like at college I ask what courses he or she is taking, what's their major and ect. But I refrain from jokes because I know my jokes aren't very good >.>

I'm terrible when it comes to conversation, but when I have to talk I try talking about something intresting, like a news article I read or a show I saw. Or sometimes a story I read at Bestgore. I like to see how squeamish some people are

I don't start conversations with random people. I will usually indulge them if they start it though, or at least listen long enough until I can find an escape. Now, friends of friends, acquaintances, people where there's already some reason to talk to them, sure.

Yea, I do the same at school too! Even though my jokes may not be good, I laugh at them myself and somehow people like that...Others just look at me like I'm nuts

They have to say something when they're locked in your basement.

I don't talk to too many people, but there have been a few occasions where right after I met someone, they started asking me about sports.

Which is quite awkward since I don't watch or play sports at all, so I really don't have anything to say.

I guess it showed me that quite a few people think it's normal to be into sports?

Can't bring myself to care about people throwing balls into nets or hitting balls with clubs though. Just doesn't interest me lol

If someone makes our first conversation naughty,
I'm done. I just either walk away or block that person.
It's annoying and immature.

People always seemed to start conversations with me despite me keeping to my self. However, I once started a conversation in freshman year of high school with a girl on a dirty joke. I thought I made a fool of myself, but she laughed and we became pretty good friends. That was nice, but I haven't dared to attempt to replicate that success.

I'm curious, how did the dirty joke go?

Personally I don't do small talk, because screw that, this past weekend I met a friend of a friend who was a good 3 - 4 years older then me at least, but after only knowing her for about an hour or so she was messing up my hair, (quite weird with me being so much taller then her), and if I told her to shut me up she put her hand over my mouth, I am good at quickly forming close bonds with people who are really lax.

I come from a city full of a-holes so there's no point in talking to anyone. And there's a saying that your face tells you a lot about you and well i can see right through people.
