The 10-episode original anime Osiris no Tenbin (The Balance of Osiris) will premiere this Saturday, August 1 at midnight. It is the first original anime on the newly revamped Fuji TV On Demand service.

Plot Summary

The dark suspense story is set in the modern day and centers around an assassin enshrouded in mystery. To decide whether to execute an assignment or not, he personally meets the target before handing down his final judgment. The story follows the drama that comes from his conversations with the target.

Due to certain circumstances, the left side of the assassin's body has hardly any internal organs. He is weak and unskilled at guns, but he does possess psychokinesis.

The taglines on the image above read: "The weakest assassin ever…. But his power is unrivaled." and "The story of his solitary battle."

Just like an assassin, this series hid in the shadows and waited until the final second to strike.

This has my attention. Kinda odd that there wasn't any promotion for this. I guess they were going for something really low key here.

A little more info:

Fuji TV will start streaming a new original web anime series Osiris no Tenbin (Osiris' Balance) via its streaming site FOD/Fuji TV On Demand from 00:00 am on August 1 (JST). The story features conversations between a mysterious nameless assassin and his targets. The five-minute series is scheduled to run for 10 episodes. Yusuke Fujikawa (Nobunaga Concerto) attaches to direct.

The assassin has lost most of his internal organs in his left half body for some reason, so he is physically very weak, not good at martial art or gun shooting. But he has one special ability, a very small psychokinesis power, that makes him a very unique killer. He destroys only the target's brain with his power, then provides their organs for transplantation. Before taking their lives, he always has conversations with them to find out if they are truly deserved to die.

Main voice cast:
Yuuki Kaji (Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan)
Yoshimasa Hosoya (Asahi Azumane in Haikyu!!)
Ryohei Kimura (Ryota Kise in Kuroko's Basketball)
Kenichi Suzumura (Sougo Okita in Gintama)
Daisuke Namikawa (Goemon Ishikawa in Lupin The Third)
Mamoru Miyano (Light Yagami in Death Note)
Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass)
Miyuki Sawashiro (Towa/Cure Scarlet in Go! Princess PreCure)

It looks like the MC won't have a name and he apparently only destroys the target's brains so he could donate the organs intact.
