Isle of Man TT anyone?

OMG, if they had a equivalent event like this but with cars! I would race in it in a heartbeat!

Don't worry it is pretty overrated. I remember when I was 18 and got my license I was look yes.
Now I'm older and it is stupid. So many people don't care. Texting or looking at their phones or just bad drivers in general.

Makes it a lot easier to not have to ask people for rides all the time though. I hate giving people rides.

Always liked this video/music better.

And that also leads to my biggest complaint about open road racing, it isn't head to head.

Yeah I didn't choose the best video but I was too lazy to search.

I can't even imagine if they raced head to head in road racing. It would be insane. This course alone has had 246 fatalities in 108 years doing the staggered start.

I've been to the airfield there just not during the races.

The planes are fast but the races still can't compare with open wheel oval racing, the closest thing to planes on the ground.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yvo7yZhu4s4

These kinds of races are the only ones I like on ovals, it sucks that people are so against it due to the high risk of having a fatality.

I've noticed that most people I hang around who enjoy anime are also into cars, trucks, 4x4's and things like that. I also happen to be one of those people.

I found this interesting for some reason or another, soooo, how many of you guys are?

Count me as one. I'm into sports cars, supercars and Motorsport.

I don't know how to drive yet. But I do like cars. I've been watching a lot of GTChannel lately, trying to figure out how cars work so when I do finally get one I'll know what the heck is going on. Plus I wouldn't mind racing myself

Umm, no.
I know how to change my oil, tires, battery, that's it.
And since my complex doesn't allow it, I don't even change my own oil anymore.
I can't afford fancy cars, and even if I could, there would be no point, as I believe in always driving the speed limit.
I do covet some cars though. I find Mini Coopers and Kia Souls both to be cute. Especially atteactive in off-white. But I can't afford those cars either.
When people show off those old old cars that are restored, like the kind you see in baby blue with whitewalled tires, I find those pretty too.

driving the speed limit....you might as well just whip around in a golf cart lol. You'll never go above the speed limit in one of those

I'm kinda OCD about trying to drive the exact speed limit. Often going as far as using cruise control. Since some highways are at 70, I doubt a golf cart would work. And I need to be able to get to work during winter, I'm not sure they'd handle the snow well enough. Otherwise, if they were cheap & fuel/energy efficient, sure, I'd drive one. Are they street legal?

I was totally joking. I've never met someone that made driving sound like so much of a chore lol.

Hit the track sometime dude.
