I honestly prefer it to the rest of the Dragon Ball series. Also, It's a prime example of how sensitive Western Animation is to everything, like sex, tobacco/alchohol, and vulgar language. (Make sure you are watching the unedited version)

Well:

1) i wouldn't know because i haven't watched it
AND
2) is all this stuff you mention in the dub too? (Refer to #1)

Funimation usually has everything unedited for the DVD/BD so I would assume it streams unedited. When they did edit it, it was for Toonami because it was to mature for our little minds.

The Boondocks's artstyle and fight scenes are heavily influenced by anime.

I watched Avatar the Last Airbender before I ever watched an anime, and I absolutely loved it. I think I've watched the whole series about 6 times with my daughter, lol.

I always enjoyed that show but it never occurred to me until I looked a fight, it was badass.

All these 80's series original ideas were made in The States, but the animation was entirely made by Japanese companies such as Pacific Animation Corporation (PAC) or Tokio Movie Shinsha Co., Ltd. (Smartly renamed 'TMS Entertainment' in some of these series' credits, lol) to mention some.

Check them for yourselves, all the light effects, speed effect movements, all anime-ish. And I gotta admit, all the opening themes' music were pretty catchy as well. (´・ω・)b

This was a fun task, these series were the shit back in the days, hehe:

Well we definitely need more ECCHI.

It has a different flare to it (this type of animation in the US tends to be aimed explicitly at adults, and features fewer school girls) but if you are looking for scantily clad women or nudity in Western animation, try:

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? ("I can't help it; I'm just drawn that way.")
South Park
Family Guy
Archer
Drawn Together
Cool World (okay, this movie admittedly sucks)

But none of those shows really capture the essence of ecchi.
