Episode 3

So they figure out that the robber at the conveni is the culprit and that he didn't rip the chain and use the bike to get away, but his car happened to smash the bike off its chain. From the clues, it's a green import seeing that only imported cars are that color, and that the culprit is somewhere in the northern part of the city. And while Aya is the language expert, she can't read German, which is what the ingredients make the paint. Things sure have gotten interesting there, and Aya's family is great as well.

Hmm, are we certain she can't understand German? She's a language expert, but I guess in this case it means she's probably good at English. German is the closest relative to English, so it shouldn't be too hard to get the general sense of things.

I think this would be an excellent show to help introduce younger kids to anime. I also feel it deserves full-length episodes. It's really good for a short show.

Episode 4

When you don't know German, just look it up in a dictionary. That's exactly what Aya does, and they figure out the make and model of the car just like that, and that leads them straight to the culprit. Kuroki is quite resourceful there taking an audio recording of that crook. Wakatake was all too eager to confront the guy himself, but Aya and company were right on top of things all while Wakatake's soccer skills came in handy. Team KZ is now formed. That was pretty nice seeing those kids come up with a brilliant idea to catch the culprit, and thus this case is closed.

I guess wiretapping laws are different in Japan. All silly things aside, I still like this. For me, it evokes a strong sense of nostalgia, reading children's detective stories in the 4th grade (and getting into arguments with my reading teacher as to why they aren't suitable for book reports, and subsequently getting kicked out of class. My teacher explained to my mother, "We need a break from each other").

I was also wondering about this. I thought that he was following the guy and recording him that way so I wasn't sure it counted as wiretapping though. My question is whether it can be used as evidence or not. Even though he had the conversation in a public space, there's questions as to whether you're allowed to record a person without their permission.

Tantei Team KZ Jiken Note EP 4 / "The Missing Bike Knows "

This is a basic no frills anime . But that makes it good because you get a anime like reading "Nancy Drew / Hardy Boy Mysteries " Aya and the Tantei Team KZ figure out who the culprit is that wrecked Kazuomi's bike. He is the one that doesnt want to go to the police and the Team knows that and helps him when he is attacked ! Again great life lessons and Aya has made friends

Episode 5

It's the start of a new case, but there's no detective case going on here. It's the start of a new school year where everybody is going to a different school. All of the boys except Wakatake are going to an elite private school, Aya is attending her third choice private school, and Wakatake is attending a public school having struck out on his exams despite his mental capabilities. Aya is having a tough time fitting in, all while he sits next to a delinquent and even worse, she was picked to be room leader. But it turns out Sunahara is a nice guy who helps Aya fit right in. Pretty much, this is just a transition to the next case that's coming.

Aya's harem grows in record time, but now she's got enemies because she's friends with the hot soccer team.

As for the new kid, I'm sure he's not a delinquent. He's probably one of those smart kids who is bored with school because the material doesn't challenge him. Will he be regular or just a shield between the queen bee and Aya?
