LEGO came out with some new lego people. one of them is a grandpa in a wheelchair. some parents are mad about this. they want hip disable toys.

I don't see anything wrong with the wheelchair grandpa. the context of the new people toys are adults doing service work helping adults. when children play sometime they imagine themselves as adults. i think the grandpa in a wheel chair can help kids be sensitive to disable old people.

what do you think about the wheel chair grandpa?

I am not with the whole activism crap... I can't really see a problem with it,
People over exaggerate just to cause drama.

People will always find something to complain about.

Also, they're Duplo characters - you can put whoever you want into that wheelchair, doesn't have to stay the old man.

Not as bad as LEGO's own description of Turg.

Its like the worlds collective intelligence has dropped in the last 5 years. Are peoples lives really this boring that they have to complain about a fucking lego toy?

Given that there's a thread about tourists that look at moss, I'd say yes.

But what about the people who die from dyhydrogen monoxide and g2v sol on a daily basis, Lego!
Won't somebody think about the children!
Oh wait, someone was trying to think of the children...
What about the fat American Lego figures? I'm offended that all of my Lego figures are skinny and junk!
Why in the Lego Cities series, rednecks and backwoods people are portrait as criminals? It's unconstitutional!

Can we go on with our lives yet?
