They better not cast white people.

Lionsgate doesn't "work on movies", they're an indie company who distributes the movies made by other people--
In this case, Avi Arad, who had to get some work of his own after leaving Marvel, and cast white people in his Ghost in the Shell movie.

If M. Night Shyamalan was involved, he'd have casted Indians for half the cast and made Naruto a white boy with bad lines.

Wonder if they'll let M. Night Shyamalan touch this? Dramatic plot twist man. Or even add Michael Bay since there are a lot of smoke cloud scenes. This seems like a horror film right out of Naruto Abridged movie "Spoof Movie No Jutsu" where George Lukas and Michael Bay were the movie directors, and M. Night Shyamalan was the evil villain.

I mean the anime movies work only because you already know the characters. No back story except of the few new faces of the plot which the movies center around. Will they give us something new? Like maybe ninja business if Naruto tries learning other elements like water, fire, earth, or lightning and uses more clones to add it to his Rasengan. A earth and water Rasengan that clears the area and ends with creating a giant tree.

The movie has to have a lot of Naruto shadow clones if anything.

I don't agree with Hollywood's casting...

And yet, the overwhelming majority of anime characters do NOT look Asian by any means. They look like cartoon versions of white people, with their eye color, hair color, "big eyes"...etc. If I did not know that anime was Japanese, I would have thought it was stylized drawings of whites.

You want an Asian animated character?

My guess would be that they will try to fit the entirety of Naruto (not including Shippuden) into a single movie, like that one live action movie. *cough* Dragon Ball Evolution *cough*

Good for them. I don't really watch movies so i'm not bothered.

Last good movie made in the West was like 40 years ago so don't fret too much.

I'm surprised Hollywood didn't jump on the Attack on Titan train and made a live action. In due time I guess.

I don't have a problem with it as long as the race is sorted out correctly, Naruto is obviously white.

And so is Sakura.

It'll suck, they are doing that to Death Note as well, more likely they will throw it out sooner or later. Naruto isn't that even popular here. Remember Dragon ball live action movie? XD
