Vodka taste horrible to me. I drink craft beer. Yes, I drink it to relax and just enjoy the drink, not to get drunk or wasted.

Nice, I drink it once in a while. hmm... Well, It depends on your taste. In the craft beer world, there's pretty much something for everyone. Do you like Hop or Malt forward drinks? or maybe a more balanced one?

EDIT: Another is whether you prefer darker beers or not, ambers etc... Too many variables.

Craft beer, but rum and whisky/ey would be close second.

I adore wine, my favorite wine is Moscato or Pinot Grigio :3

Merlot Cabernet myself for a red and Erenfeltser for white.

Glad to see a fellow wino

Merlot is too dry of a wine for me. I like dessert wines like Ice Wine, Moscato, Constantia
Pinot Grigio is a dry wine but it's also kind of sweet at the same time. To me at least.

I'm lucky enough to have been to some excellent Canadian wineries to sample ice wines and honestly, while a lot of it is a little too sweet for me, small samples tasted properly really do showcase the skill that goes into dessert wines. Shame that due to their production, they're also stupid expensive. I think that while I got 4 bottles of various wines for about 100 CDN, I ended up dropped 160 CDN on an ice wine for my parent's anniversary.

I do agree with your analysis of the Pinot gris though, as one who is stuck between balancing dryness with sweetness, preferring both and not too much of one or the other, that one does strike a chord with me.

Another for wine is missing. Wine is my anime/chill drink. Whiskey/Rum/Vodka are my mixed and party drink. Beer I guess is mostly for nights with the guys, gaming and such.

I'm not too picky, I make my own wine for real and its not bad if you do it properly. Good old Costco, works out to roughly $1 a bottle.

They are indeed stupid expensive. But I generally just buy mine off of Amazon. I really like the Pink Moscato by Electra but unfortunately I do believe they stopped selling it so my second choice would be Barefoot. It's hard to find good wine around here because this town is so closed off from everything. Ice Wine is one of the most expensive wines I've ever come across.

Pinot Grigio is more delicate say than Merlot which is full bodied and dry.
I will give Merlot that much, it does have a strikingly full bodied taste. A lot of people like it.
I would prefer wine over pretty much any alcohol, I mean... NOTHING beats a glass of wine and a bubble bath x3

You have to be careful with cheaper wines though, some of them are downright terrible. The only cheap wines I get are from Barefoot. Arbor Mist to me is just terrible ;_; and a waste of good wine goes into making it. Sad day.

I'm not so much a cheap wine person myself. Barefoot is a little too sweet for me and you're absolutely right about Arbor. Wine is pretty much my go to in any situation outside of partying at a bar or club, but with my current employment [curse the oil price crash] it means that I'm more likely to go with a case of beer now since a bottle of wine will normally cost me 30-40 CDN for a bottle I want. More economically efficient to go with beer at the moment though it pains me to do so.

Have you tried Black Box? I thought it was gonna be pretty bad, bc I accidently bought a box of Merlot, but it was actually pretty good. I had to force myself to drink all of it though. Yeah I go for cider tbh a lot because it's so cheap and readily available. I'm not much of a beer person, but I can drink Cider for days xD. Also, another really good Grape based product is Brandy, I don't know if you like it or not but they make some AWESOME brandy. I like making hot toddy's with it.

My grandma banned me from brandy though xD Cause I got really really drunk ;_; (I'm not joking she was like YOU ARE BANNED)

I'm not a fan of hard liquor really except in Mixers... but I could drink that stuff all day.

My drinking started with hard liquors but I've slowed down a ton since then. I think if my parents banned me from drinking it would have to be from all drinking since I'm sure I've embarrassed myself more than once on pretty much every type of booze. Rugby is a hell of a game, that's what my story is and I'm sticking to it.

As for Black Box, I'll give it a shot next time I'm in a liquor store, see if it's around and whatnot.
