Funny, my top two favorite animes are both on the list. Good thing I'm satisfied with Kokoro Connect and Baccano as they are. Kokoro I'm fine with reading the LN and Baccano wrapped itself up with its last few episodes (Plus it lives on in Durarara with the password, Isaac and Miria, and most recently, the existence of Nebula in the mob universe).

Nebula has been in there since Season 1, they just translated it weirdly so it was called Nebra. They bought out Yagiri Pharmaceuticals, Remember? They seemed like the good guys until I watched Baccano...

Huh, guess it's another example of how I completely forgot that the twins showed up in the first season. Such things happen when it's been years since watching it. But yeah, I really like how Durarara incorporates the Baccano universe so much.

Heh, yeah. Honestly, I started watching Baccano looking for artistic similarities, and now I have this weird headcanon that Izaya is Chane/Clare's grandson or something...

seems like they forgot Bleach since that is going still but most likely never to be picked up again. MM! just stopped mid story as well but sometimes its surprising to see what really wont get a second season that ends up being huge in other countries but sales still sucked.

I see two of them being potentially wrong.
1) Baccano. Baccano has indeed extremely poor sales on Dengeki bunko standards so usually that means indeed no new anime adaptation. On this they are correct. There is however, a recent news that makes me think that there is again a possibility. Yen press licensed Baccano, which makes baccano the novel series licensed by Yen press with by far the poorest sales. Why did they license it? Because they licensed Durarara too and it's the same author? But Durarara sells more than 10 times better (maybe even 15 times+ better) in Japan according to the sales chart. That seems like a very small reason. Because Baccano has the potential to be popular in the west? Maybe.
But then there's the case of danmachi's licensing. Danmachi licensing was a surprise on its own. A few months (less than a year) after yen press announced licensing the series, it was announced to have an anime adaptation by Ga Bunko, which made Danmachi's licensing far more logical in my eyes. So the question is, did Yen Press knew about this fact. And if they did, didn't they license Baccano for a similar reason. If in the next few months we don't hear of baccano's new anime season then I will agree. For now, I'd say there is a small chance.

2) Index. This one is wrong ImO. There is an incentive for a new season. The sales of the novels have been dropping more and more book after book for a while. Considering Index was one of the best seller of Dengeki Bunko but that right now a new volume don't even reach 100k in 3 weeks, I'm not sure Dengeki Bunko is OK with that. And having a new season would be logical to try boosting the sales once again.

But yeah, case like Spice & wolf are obvious. However, maybe we'll get an anime adaptation of Magdala de Nemure, which is the new novel series of Spice and wolf's author, and is awesome as well. It has a couple with kemono mimi girl just as well and the chemistry in that couple is very good and getting better and better. Main focus is alchemy (the medieval science, not the magic here) rather than economy, but it has a medieval world well built like spice and wolf, and so on.

We know who chane/clare's grandson/Granddaughter are since BAccano has novels happening in the 2k years. And they don't look like Izaya.

DRRR! got more seasons so I don't see why not.
Baccano has more volumes to adapt since I volume the series and been enjoying it plenty.

The Index and Spice and Wolf ones....eh, it could take time but they could happen.

Because Durarara's sales are like 15 times better and that Baccano's sales don't meet the minimal requirement for Dengeki Bunko to give an anime adaptation. However, like I said above, there is still a glimpse of hope for a few more months ImO.

I'm mildly shocked that no one is bugged by Panty and Stocking. It's the South Park of anime, it should be picking up seasons as fast as One Piece. As soon as your brain hurts from Code Geass or whatever cerebral show is out, boom Panty and Stocking to slow calm those twisted neurons.

Hmmm some I agree with, but some I don't. Index I think for sure will get continued and for Berserk I think they'll at least make another movie.

For berserk they're probably just waiting for the manga to have enough new material to PROMOTE (and not to adapt, since they could do a lot of movies with what is already there).
Since it as been announced that the author's hiatus is finished, the next movie could come next year for example.

there was far more certain anime that will never get a new season than some in that list. CubexCursedxCurious for example will never have one. Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon neither, for various reasons. Kyouran kazoku nikki is hopeless as well, since they removed all the main plot from the first season lol. Claymore had a gecko ending so it's useless too. And so on. So many logical "nope, you won't have it".
Suzumiya haruhi will not have one as long as the authr doesn't write new material to promote. Which mean it's possible, but considering the publishing pace, it could be pretty much "never" depending on him.

I would have respected that list if they had mentioned some big ones like Cowboy Bebop, but honestly I couldn't give two shits about half of that crap. Some of those with source issues is one thing, but others like Panty and stocking with garterbelt shouldn't have existed in the first place.
Sometime we ought to ask ourselves: 'Hey this thing isn't too popular, it doesn't have a fanbase in Japan, the people who made it don't want to talk about it, and the execs aren't interested, so maybe..." maybe... it's because it's utter crap?
Most likely, that's the reality.

Not sure all his arguments are valid when he says didn't follow manga very well and sales were down. Where in Japan? I am talking about Deadman Wonderland. If netflixs wanted to make it happen they would totally pull trigger based on US sales and popularity. I get about Nana writer has disease but she isn't dead and has been working on other anime. Whatever just another blog has Zero credibility but gets attention

That article was mentioning only adaptation anime that didn't had a proper ending, IE, peoples are currently forced to look at the original material if they want to know what's next. Why would it mention anime like cowboy bebop which are original anime AND had a proper ending? Who in his right mind would ask for a sequel of cowboy bebop? Who needs someone to tell him that there will never be such sequel? Like, that's obvious for anyone who've seen it ?

Also, are you maybe implying that sales have anything to do with quality? There's a ton of amazing show that didn't sell and will never get a sequel. And suggesting that shows like Berserk or Spice and wolf are utter crap is ridiculous, as well.
