No. No they don't. Like at all.
Its not their body, they're not gonna give birth to the kid either.

Honestly the fact that men feel the need to have a say in women's bodies is the reason why we have anti-abortion laws, single mothers & teen pregnancy.
Mothers can't afford abortions, because its illegal where they live and/or it can't be covered by insurance.

I assure you, women often will abort if they could anyway if the man doesn't want one. Because if they don't, they will leave & the women will have an incredibly hard time taking care of the child.

Literally the whole problem here about this is the fact men want/feel they need a say in things about women & their bodies. Basically women lacking the rights they should already have.

The problem isn't just with their body. If they have the kid, then they become part of it. I am talking from a perspective where abortions are legal though and have bias towards abortions over child birth.

Not at all. I'm talking about becoming a father, period. It's a big deal. Even if you leave the person. You now have a child with your genes out there in the world. That's fucking terrifying.

Is that sarcasm? That's really quite petty. It wouldn't be a father in that case, just a biological one. Heck, even just 'sperm donor'. There is no 'becoming a father' in that case. Boo fucking hoo. It's not a big deal at all.

Sure as hell is a big deal to me. I'm sure there are many who would agree.

I guess it's only natural that you don't understand.

Forcing an abortion on a woman who wants to love her child is way different from not being forced to pay child support. I'd easily kill a man before being forced to abort my child. Not even a second thought there. I don't think anyone would agree with that position of yours. Male or female.

Geez. I already said this isn't about child support. Nor did I ever say you wouldn't understand because of gender. Though it is one of many reasons. A fetus isn't a child anymore than an egg or sperm is for weeks. Funnily enough, I'd easily kill a woman before passing on my shitty genes.

Why would I want my child to struggle? Why would I want my child to endure the shit I've been threw? I wouldn't and its because i'd love my kid so much I'd make the gut wrenching choice. I'm not here saying kids with disabilities can't be happy I'm saying I understand the struggle that those kids have to go through to find happiness and I would never wish that even on my worst enemies. There are so many kids out there who need someone to love them there is no reason to even have a kid in the first place.
Your comment has made me think I'm not gonna say your right, but it is something that i'm going to ponder for awhile. I appreciate your honesty and see you mean well so I don't feel like arguing is gonna benefit anything.

So you'd kill someone because of a choice you made? Maybe don't have a kid. Is it so hard to pull out or wear a condom? Actually don't do that, don't have sex for a while because I don't think your ready for that.

So you give me shit for saying I'd kill someone when she also said that she'd kill someone? Bare in mind that it would NEVER be my choice if it happened. For one, I'd have to be straight up raped for it to happen because I never want to have sex for multiple reasons. Second of all, contraceptives are not 100% so even if the rapist used contraceptives, there's always a chance. As you can see, I'd have good reason to kill.

That's pointless to talk about because if its just people being biased over it, then that's just personal problem.

Ya because she would kill to protect her kid, you on the other hand plan to kill someone because not only do you not want to raise a kid you don't want anyone to raise your kid. If you have a problem with women raping you for your genes you should write a book because alot of guys would like to know your secret.

I realize it's insanely unlikely and I am glad that it is. Either way a fetus isn't a kid until it is conscious. And it's not that I don't want anyone to raise my kid. I don't want a kid that comes from me to exist, period.

So you would kill someone? That is a very ignorant way to think. How do you define consciousness? At what point does something become conscious?

It's not really ignorant if you ask me. I just don't value life like most people do. That does include my own. I'd consider a fetus conscious when its brain starts working.

I know you've been through it yourself, but if it's an consultation I'm happy you're alive and I hope you find your life worth living, even it that wasn't the case in the beginning. I'm sure you can even think of ways that could have made it easier and that you could do for a child going through similar. There's always a way. I'm glad I could get you to at least think about it.

So at 6 months you consider a fetus alive good to know. And just becuase you dont value your life doesnt mean you have the right to take someone elses. I feel very sorry for you. I have been in a similar train of thought, but I realized how foolish I was.

I'm glad too. It got a little hairy for a couple years, but its all good now haha. I just don't want someone to have to endure even what I've been through (which honestly isn't much compared to some.) I guess the case I'm talking about is super narrow and probably doesn't happen very much, but none the less until we as a people can start taking care of each other I think in some instances abortions are ok.
