wood is bad for your knees, so it's good to at least have a balance ^.^

I like wooden floors, especially dark coloured ones, and contrasting rugs complement it better. Carpet is nice, but I find it bland after a while. Unfortunately, I have no wooden floors, nor nice rugs...

Wooden. Carpet is just about the worst for dog owners.

I have carpets in most of my house, but I'd definitely go with wood, much easier to clean.

While I wish I had carpet in the winter cuz I keep my house as cold as possible to afford eating, wood because my cats puke and have hairballs all the time, and the young one the neighbors abandoned that decided to move in...well she likes to poop and pee if I don't please her how she likes.

Wood. Carpet is a pain to clean.

Prefer to have wood floors but I have a carpet. Now I would replace that in a second, but I also have a really nice sound system and not many people on the first floor would like to have 500 watts of subwoofer on a wood floor.

We're starting to tear up all the old carpeting that's been nailed to our floors since before we moved in. Good riddance. If you want soft floors, use movable rugs instead.

Wood 100%.

Easier to clean up, feels better on my feet, and if I wanted something fluffy, I got a $2000 bed right in the middle of my living room. (sadly, it's my most expensive asset, yet is totally worthless. Who wants a used bed:P)
