Ranma 1/2, i never heard of it till someone recommended it to me and now i can't get eneugh of it even though its quite old.

To be honest, I've never heard of anything before I heard of it.

Ranma 1/2 is one of those classic greats however, it's comedy and writing is so unique to Rumiko Takahashi...as well as so typical and overused of Rumiko Takahashi. Look at Rine-no-Wa or Inuyasha.

Same Rumiko characters, same Rumiko art style, and the same wacky Rumiko comedy.

It's good for a reason! It's got 7 seasons, 12 Ova's, and 2(sometimes 3 if your picky about an OVA) movies!

And it's very important, especially if you're watching it in English....at least I think it is for English, to watch the OVA"s last. Those OVA"s are hilarious golden moments for the show, really showcasing the best of it's characters.

I actually watch the subbed version mainly couse i find it sound better and dubs were rather bad in that day and age.
But i agree, its a great show!

Tamayura.

No seriously.

It has:
- the original 4 OVA series titled Tamayura
- a 12 episode season called Tamayura: Hitotose with an ova bonus episode
- a second 12 episode season called Tamayura: More Aggressive again with an ova bonus episode
- AND it has currently aired 2 out of 4 movies that will make up the finale of the series titled Tamayura: Sotsugyou Shashin

It is clearly doing well in Japan yet outside it... I've came across maybe a half dozen people who are even aware of it let alone seen it.
You can only find it on the dark side and it is a slow paced Slice of Life which contributes to not many people knowing about it. Not many people seem to like that genre.

IF Crunchyroll somehow got a hold of it I implore all SoL fans to try it.

An even bigger IF is it getting a UK bluray release. If that happened, as someone who has purchased a $200 box set before, I would snap that shit up regardless of price.

The Dub has a great quality to it, and the majority of the comedy will work in either language. So it's a solid contender for Dub watching if ever you need suggest this to someone who doesn't watch Sub's.

However, classic hate problem. Ranma's 4th season forward, which are worse in general, changes Ranma's voice actor. It's jarring....and i hate it. But HEEEEY. It's a solid dub through and through.

Now...finding the dub...good luck on that one. And I won't fault the sub's, but it's solid. Don't "find it sound better" me! You didn't even check!

I think Baccano was underrated, compared to its brother, Durarara.

If you like action anime, then check out S-Cry-Ed and it is the epitome of underrated. Tiger & Bunny seems underrated right now, a few years ago people loved it, but so far, it has been driven to obscurity. Zillion can also be considered an underrated anime gem, but only sci-fi fans can understand the series.

The Black Jack OVA and Black Jack 21 are underrated anime based off an underrated shounen manga.
