Rotting baby food. I work in a food warehouse and when stuff breaks and no one knows it... You'll know in a couple hours.

Makes crap smell like roses.

I've been around some dead bodies for forensic class when we went to the morgue. Dead bodies smell nasty as f**k but still can't beat the disgusting smell of mayonaise! I hate it so much I gag even if it's near me.

The worst smell I've come across... Otaku Funk... No, I am not joking here and I do not mean the smell of a sweaty person, but a combination of odours that made me think that the person secreting this smell hadn't seen a bath, shower or even running water for years.
It litterally made me sick.

This is also the reason I will never in my life go to another Summer Comiket again.

For me there are odors that are universally straight up bad like a porto-potty at the fair, skunks, rotten eggs, cat bombs, and then there are things like peoples cologne or perfume. While they can't be categorized as the worst smells, and everyone will have differing opinions, these are the worst smells for me. If a person has BO, you know it's not great but you have to be fairly close to them to really smell it. A person walks into an office space with a heavy cologne on and it's maddening. The odor is obnoxiously everywhere, and when they get close enough you can smell that underlying BO anyway... It literally makes me ill.

I have a hyper-sensitive nose, so even good smells that are too strong reek havoc with me. As for bad smells, I have a couple:

1.) You know those evergreen bushes with really thick, almost teardrop shapes, needles? A bag of clippings from one of those had been rotting/fermenting in the sun for months. The bag burst open on its own. Never smelled something so foul in my life, and I've smelled death before.

2.) I worked in fast food in maintenance. We have a huge compactor, and while it stinks, I can generally tollerate it. At times the inside of it needs to be cleaned, and we send it off to get cleaned. The orange cleaner is strong (see my first statement above). I can handle the compactor smell and cleaner smell on their own, but put together on a 100 degree day and something unearthly happens. I couldn't open the compactor door without nearly passing out every time.

When I was little I caught the flu. Woke up early in the morning completely covered in my own vomit. Apparently I puked throughout the whole night. Puke smell took forever to go away. To make the smell even worse I was sleeping on the top bunk bed, which had puke dripping down from it and sheets pulled.
