oh? What's that like? I get that it's chocolate and green tea flavoured, but I don't know what daifuku is.

It's the perfect mochi. I dislike most sweets since they are too sweet, but I had a taste of a Kyoto specialty at a tea house and ate some shaved ice on their second floor and I was sold. That was the best shaved ice and mochi I've had. Since I'm dead tired of red bean, I bought daifuku with chocolate filling. The chocolate is not too sweet and tastes like dark. The outer part is made with matcha and dusted with matcha (like flour to prevent sticking) and it is perfect. Slightly bitter and so good. Sadly, there are only around 16 pieces in that box. I finished 5 yesterday.

That sounds really good. :3 I love matcha and dark chocolate, I never thought of putting the two together.

For breakfast today I had leftover okonomiyaki with spicy mayo, vegan ham, and scallions on top. Cabbage and other root vegetables are so economical and full of fibre.
