What do you think?

Even within individual cities there are distinct cultures.

Many times actively avoiding interaction with each other.
The city I live in, Washington, DC, is a prime example of this.

No offense but I still don't see why people get legitimately upset when a US flag is getting burned or stomped on or w/e but its A-OK to wear it?

Do you honestly think that's just America that gets upset over a burning flag?

Jesus, try that with Saudi Arabia. Flag desecration is illegal in some countries (Hell, even Germany [up to 5 years in prison]) and frowned upon in most countries.

You mean cowboys? I liked them better when they were called Vaqueros...

That's more of a Spanish thing then it is an "American" thing. Just another
tradition we added to our own like almost all other things. (That came from
Spain via Mexico btw)

No I don't.
Glorifying a piece of cloth is just dumb to me.

Its hard to have your own culture when your a multicultural nations of immigrants.
That's only been around a couple hundred years. If I had to point to one defining
"trait" I'd say our "culture" has is that we are rebellious to authority for better or
worse.

How is it hard to have your own culture

Fun fact:
Real cow boys were mexican, Latin, and even black.

Those ain't cowboys, those are buckaroos.

Basques get mighty cranky if you call them Vaqueros or Mexicans too. Do it too much and they'll make up a batch of lamb fries, but using your own goods.

Oh yeah I'm not really trying to say it is.
Idk. What it really is is probably just how people refer/look at America. And just calling it "American culture" I feel seems like people are watering down the cultures that reside here.

Only because the cultures in America I feel are very unappreciated/looked down upon mostly due to the dumb stereotypes due to mostly white Americans tbh. I guess what makes me say that is the people who wanna actually try to go off the stereotypes.
I think I can see where you're coming from with that. And yeah, I agree with white people watering down cultures they can get their hands on. Very annoying :/

Alright. I do agree with that. But I dont think thats a problem exclusive to America.
