How do you sleep at night?
Posted 8/3/15
I sleep when I can, as best I can. I also tend to sleep on my sides, and with the ac on during summer, and bundled under the covers in the winter
Sometimes it takes me awhile to go to sleep, but eventually I get there, lol.

No, I just have learned to adjust. I am having surgery in the near future and hopefully then I'll be able to sleep lying down again. I've always had sleeping problems since I was little. I usually have nightmares or night terrors from PTSD. But you kinda just learn to live with it. Sleeping in a chair is hard to get use to but I've learned how to adjust myself so I'm comfortable C:

Well good luck with the hopefully soon-to-come surgery
Sleep can make or break people, which I'm sure you know better than most of us.

Indeed. Thank you!

I sleep on the bottom bunk of my bunk-bed that I've had since I was 5. The top is currently used for storing the mountain of stuffed animals I've had since I was a child. I've got a couple of blankets on my bed, along with my pokemon stuffed animals that usually end up hanging out at the other end by my feet. I move a lot when I sleep, like I'm constantly rotating from one side to another. It's not that I can't get comfortable, I just tend to move around while I'm dreaming.

My goodness idk how you can get any rest, i couldn't deal with the clutter lol. I sleep in the middle of my king size bed with a single pillow and on top of the comforter with a single blanket that my great granny gave me in my youth (I get hot easily). I generally sleep on my back and rarely move aside from the occasional leg shift.

I lived aboard my sailboat for most of my adult life and always wedged myself securely in place with a couple of pillows. Now that I live in one of these land box things, I still wedge myself in place with a pillow on either side of me.

I sleep with my arms above my head, all stretched out with a pillow in the curve of my back.

Siide sleeper, I need the room to be really cold and I need a blanket that covers my whole body. I usually have 4 pillows. One on top of my head and another one bellow my head. I also usually have one pillow at my side. At night I'd usually have a side i'd sleep on and I cuddle my pillow on the side. I also have a fan on the celling on.

I sleep kind of on my back/side, on top of any covers, with one pillow, one blanket during summer (2-3 during winter), and a fan on low to keep me breathing while I sleep.

I used to take books to bed because I liked reading before I went to sleep. So it wasn't uncommon for me to fall asleep with the books still there. When I moved in with my husband I had to break this habit because he has a habit of tossing anything besides the pillows and lone sheet in his sleep. It's funny how you compromise your sleeping style when it's not just you.

My sister and brother-in-law have two separate little beds even though they're still madly in love because as she puts it*: "He plays soccer in his sleep too much." XD
