Hey guys, I recently finished Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night UBW. I love this series so much but it doesn't seem to be anymore anime versions of the Fate series. Am I wrong, is there something i missed? Thanks! Also i saw that in Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Blue and Silver the rider class servant is Ramesses II and he looks so cool but i cant seem to find anything on Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Blue and Silver, is it a visual novel or something?

While its nothing like the other fate series, its pretty great on its own.

Magical girl anime featuring Illya as the main character as she battles various characters from the Fate franchise.

The only other animated versions of Fate are the 2006 Fate/Stay Night series and the Unlimited Blade Works movie.

The 2006 series mostly covers the Fate route of the game with a bit of the UBW and Heaven's Feel route thrown in there. Visually though, the show will definitely be a downgrade for you since you're coming from watching Fate/Zero and the UBW anime. The 2006 anime was animated by Studio DEEN, generally considered a lesser studio compared to ufotable, and is close to a decade old at this point.

The UBW movie was also animated by Studio DEEN and condenses the UBW story to a single movie. I thought it was pretty awful cause the pace had to be very fast to get through everything and it was hard to keep up when I hadn't previously played the game. Though it may fair a bit better now after knowing the story through the UBW anime.

Fate/Prototype is more or less the beginning of the Fate series that Nasu wrote in High School that would go on to become the Fate/Stay Night that we know today. It was apparently animated, but only as a 12minute short as part of Carnival Phantasm's release. Fragments of Blue and Silver is a light novel prequel series

There's also Carnival Phantasm. It's type moon parody series.

That Heaven's Feel movie though. I'm starting to think it's almost unavoidable for them to work around all the sex scenes of that route. Wonder if ufotable will do it. Some of the best action in Fate/Stay Night is there, but it's where most of the h-scenes were in the visual novel. The way they handle the moments in UBW where there would have been said scenes was downright awkward.

How about you stop being a filthy animu pleb and play the visual novels?

I'm kidding about the pleb part, but if you actually give a shit about the story then just read the damn things. It has more information and more fate than any animaymay could ever contain.

But you gotta be prepared for some of that hentai action. Or else you might end up like that one guy who locked himself up in his room after learning Fate/Stay Night was an eroge.

I mean, it's labelled as an eroge but I would just keep it as an adult visual novel. Sure it has h-scenes scattered throughout, but the main goal of the games isn't really to pork all the female leads like most. The premise and story themselves were good enough to be adapted into not-ecchi anime form time and time again after all. That says a lot about it's story-telling already.

That was a satire article. None of the things Animemaru report about are real stories.
