So you believe that our opinions on Crunchyroll really matter
to anyone but the other Crunchyroll users? Just wondering.
I highly doubt any of us is going to start a police reform
act on here. Just a thought.
Do you read my post while glaring at them? I'm just responding like everyone else.

It would be the truth, because not all parents are bad.
It doesn't make it any easier on the child but there
is no sense in making it bigger than it is.

I see so many people who want to dramaticize this issue
just for giggles. Sorry if you feel different, you're completely
entitled to your own beliefs, as am I.
Yes it's quite clear that that is true, but saying it doesn't fix the damages, and it doesn't exmine the issues at hand (rather it deviates from the issue). People respond this way because they believe that stating an issue is somehow detrimental.

If your hand is bleeding, saying "but not everyone is bleeding" doesn't change the fact that someone needs medical help, and maybe an ambulance.

Both are true in their own way. Things are how they are, but you still have to fix the damage and try to heal. There is no real purpose in hyping things like this up, since that promotes widespread unease and sometimes panic, but to simply say that things are how they are and leave it at that doesn't really address the problems, either. I guess it's a sort of balancing act again. Such is life...

Repairing the damage seems like it should be the priority, but promoting awareness responsibly is not unimportant.

I'm not just talking about you, but that post was a pretty good example of what
I'm talking about, you can share whatever you want to share,
it doesn't mean that I agree with you,
and just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean
that I'm "glaring" at your posts.

"Thankfully there are cameras"

Yet, people who had been killed on Camera by police still get no justice.

Well, that's the government for ya. The more they take away people's freedom the more people won't have a voice to say anything about it. Who do you think the cops work for?

Let me tell you guys a sorta trick people use in order to bring attention to what they're saying.

To address police brutality (assuming you care about it), you gotta say like "Cops are abusing their power to get away with hurting civilians." to bring their attention. If you put "not all" or "some" in there won't. You do that for the sake of bringing peoples attention really, and to get them interested in what you wanna say. I assure you though, most people who do this, aren't looking to offend anyone either.
If they wanna actually offend people (or just easily in some cases) they would put "all" in their. Like "all cops are bad".

Its like how when people address to both racism & sexism.
People will say "white people" or "men", for example. To get people to listen to what they're saying or give them some food for thought.
Again, if they use "all", its probably meant to be offensive or most likely just be interpreted as offensive. And "some" just won't do anything.

The key to getting peoples attention on the issues (especially if they are contributing to the issue), is to make it seem like you're addressing to everyone, when you're really just addressing to the people who just contribute to the issue, or just get people interested tbh.

If you still do that though, and people still are somehow offended or at least FEEL some way about it, you're doing it right.
Because if you don't make people feel anything to what you're saying, its not working.

People who dont agree with you or get where you're coming from in the end, will at least have some food for thought. And I think its a step in the right direction to what you're trying to achieve here.

No, there isn't anything wrong with saying police brutality because there really are cops
who abuse their powers.
Imagine every time a kid gets abused people said "but not all parents are bad"

Think about the people that majored in child psychology. You have no clue what they tell kids these days. lol I feel for the kids that don't have good parents and welfare doesn't step in to help or they wait at the last minute to do so.

But officer, how could that possibly be the speed limit if I can obviously go faster than that?

Okay, closed. Based on posts in here, it seems like this was created just to get responses from specific users (which it did), but seriously, folks, if you want to get into deep arguments (even with insults), take it to PMs, don't just make threads at each other.
