Only if you don't pay attention. I'm usually smart about the choices I make. I do a lot of research on companies I invest in. Way more than most people who have brokers do their shit for them.

But yeah you do have to be careful.

Not counting deductions....15% fed and 5-7% state. That state rate will jump a a good bit if you factor in sales and fuel taxes.

The best way to make money is calculated risk. Plopping money in a savings account is not the path to wealth. You have to do some form of financial speculation.

Too much. Someone has to pay for all that money going to nations that want to kill us.

Did get quite a bit back though as I claim 0 dependants, so that's always nice.
