I was wondering if anyone knows of some good romantic comedy manga, or just romantic manga in general.

Thanks in advance.

i was just about to post the same question. Strange, anyway heres some i like.

Kawai complex: its on cr so you can find it, its a rom com with the basics, but it has a nice spin on it, and i bloody love it.

Bitter virgin: about a rape victim that dosent trust men, and a 100% a-hole of a man that whants to protect her (he starts out as a a-hole anyway).

Velvet kiss: borderline h, sex averywhere, and strange romance plot.

Nozoki ana: Also borderline h, but its so awsome, its about, JUST READ IT, i love it. read it, KNOW KNOW

B-gata-h something. About a overly sexual teenage girl that whants to have sex with 100 guys, she just needs the perfect dude to be the first. 4-koma, funny as hell.

And know it seems like i only read semi porn mangas... okey I DO. i like the plot :D

Yuri:
Girlfriends: cute funny etc etc.

Hen: how to describe hen, well its hen. read it

and if i can remember the names of the following ones i will edit it in later but just gonna give some plot description.

Plot 1: Plain girl that likes to cut here, insults and cuts the hair of the most populer a-hole in school (yes its shoju or how its spelt, so ofc the dude will be a a-hole) and he tries to make her his slave until she says she likes him and then he will trow her away. etc etc. its realy good. whats good is that only 40% is the ooh will they be togheter or not part, and the rest is there relationship when they are togheter.

oh yes, almost forgot

Good ending, heres a manga with a mc that actuely evolves from the standard week hopeless dude to a actual person. He and the main love intrest have strong points and flaws, and baggage, or in the mc's case, he will get baggade.

The only downside of this manga is one of the supporting chars. She is annoying, and mostly meant to drag out the story. but you will understand wy she is like she is.

I read a lot of romance manga, so if you narrow your preferences down, I can probably help. That being said, here are my favorites: (All of these are completed series, unless mentioned)

The Best:
-----------
Ah My Goddess: Comedy, Drama, Great Romance. Technically Seinen, but relatively clean for that genre.

Umi no Misaki: Very ecchi Seinen. Best, most satisfying harem story you'll ever see.

Angel Densetsu: Starts off a great comedy; romance is slow to develop, but satisfying when it does.

Other Greats By Genre:

Shoujo/Josei Rom Coms with a bit of Drama:
---------------------------------------
SA: Special A
Kaicho wa Maid-Sama
Lovely Complex
Hirunaka no Ryuusei
Kare Kano
Fruits Basket
Aishiteruze Baby
Orange Yane Chiisana Ie
Taiyo no Ie

Shounen Harems (note: in most of these, the main romance is established from the beginning):
-----------------------------------------
The World God Only Knows
Love Hina
Kagetora
To Love Ru
Parallel
Mayo Chiki

Seinen Comedy/Drama: (many of these are fairly raunchy)
----------------------------------------
Ai Yori Aoshi
Hen Koi: The After School Diaries
Toshiue no Hito
Koharu no Hibi
Koibana Onsen
Mysterious Girlfriend X

Sci-Fi/Fantasy Romances:
--------------------------------
Uwagaki
IO
Dusk Maiden of Amnesia
Aishita Doborou
Itoshi no Kana
Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aita ga

Short and Sickeningly Sweet:
----------------------------------
Hitorimi Haduki-San To.
Itoshi no Karin
Bocchi na Bokura no Renai Jijou
Kimikiss: Various Heroines
My Hero
Choku!

Young Geek Meets Beautiful Girl:
---------------------------------

To each their own, I suppose.

GE starts out with the best one-shot I've ever read in any manga, and I absolutely loved the first half of it... but I hated that scene, and was just flat-out disappointed in most of what followed afterwards.

It's certainly not a bad manga, and like I said I do love the start of it. I just found the second half to be very disappointing.

I like baggage characters too. Kare Kano, Fruits Basket, Taiyo no Ie, Ai Yori Aoshi, Toshiue no Hito... there's enough baggage in just those five to fill the cargo hold of a 737, and I love all of them. And I don't mind if baggage takes time to put down--but I just felt that in GE, too much of that happened off-camera, and so it just felt rushed (especially when there was a lot of filler in the second half that didn't actually serve much purpose.)

Still, I respect your opinion. Like I said, I WANT to love GE, and I almost envy you that you do. The set-up is great, and the relationship between the two main characters is very well done, for the most part. I just... ugh, that was the first (non-cancelled) manga where I was so thoroughly disappointed in how the author managed the story. (Of course, since then I read Love Attack, which put me in a bad mood for about 48 hours, so I guess GE is looking good in comparison!)

just to be clear, i 100% respect ur opinion also.

isit Bakusou!! Love Attack you mean?
havent read. i usely never read anything with only 5 chapters. i whant mine to be long, realy long.

I got pist of at Fuuka, for the same reason averyone els. And love junkies, but only becuse noone translates it. uf 79 chapters translated. and what 200 more to go. but no, averyone hates the mc (i dont, i actuely like him, he is so flawed but i do understand some parts of him, he isent a adult, and not a teen either when it comes to love so he is bound to make horrible mistakes in a adult world)

Two of me recomendations actuely got me pist.
Bitter virgin, it needed one chapter more, just like a glimpse into the future just like GE had.
And velvet kiss. i both hate the ending and love it at the same time, its perfect for the manga, and thats wy it sucks.

By Love Attack, I meant Junnai Tokkou Taichoi!. It's 13 Vols, and even has a sequel series (though the sequel isn't translated). Starts off sort as a typical shoujo romance, if you imported the two leads from a shounen fighting manga. That part is fun. And then the love triangles start. The increasingly absurd love triangles that make you come to hate the two leads and everyone else in that manga.

Never read Fuuka; Seo Kouji has a long history of drawing out his melodrama past the point where I stop caring, so I've stopped reading him. I think the only thing he wrote that I liked was a fairly short dating-sim adaptation he did called Love Plus: Rinko Days.

And I had exactly the same reaction to Velvet Kiss that you did, although I came into that one with pretty low expectations in the first place; I was mostly expecting porn-with-plot rather than a good romance.

i will read love attack, so i can hate it whhahaha... found this about it

From the author:
This is the story of how Hirata-san (whom Kyou met when she ran away in Vol.9 Ch. 32 of "Power!!") met his wife. It was supposed to end after one chapter, but somehow it was decided that it would be continued.

in velvet, im suprised how well they did the romance betwen them. From apaty to empaty.
And, i whant all me porn with good plot. Like nozoki ana, or (yes this is a real title, and i do recomend it, it has romance but not the normal one) MY BALLS. Its the story about a man and his balls that have been made into a prison for the devil.

And yes his A Town Where You Live, that one just drags on and on.
But, Suzuka was actuely good. dident think it draged. but i think it should have been splitted up into parts more.

Oh yes, another recomendation:
Orange marmelade. it got vampyrs, i dont like vampyrs. but i like Orange marmalade.

Thread starter, what type of romance do you whant?
you just whant it to be some type of romance betwen two or more characters, or are there more parts you whant.
