So I went to a concert the other day and the music was really loud. Afterwards there was this non stop ringing in my ear that won't go away and quite honestly I feel as if I'm going to go insane if it doesn't stop. Does anyone know how to stop this? Please help! I don't want to have to listen to this noise for the rest of my life!

Its called tinnitus, it can go away on its own, but if it is constant and doesn't go away after a couple days.

Give your ear a rest. No loud noises, no headphones/earphones in your ears either. Wait for like a week or so... I've had it before too... And not only that, but avoid using the radio too please...

Dont worry about it much it happens alot ive gone to plenty of concerts for me it doesnt hit me as hard as some of my friends who feel it right away it take a couple of hours or days depending on who u are. For me it hits me the following day it can last a couple of hours or it can last about a day or three depending on how close u were to the speakers and how loud, that bass dropped or played. Or if their were any effects involved. all that has to be taken into consideration. But trust me it will go away no use freaking out. For me like i said i rarely get that but if ur the type that does some times u just might experience a light headache its natural it should go away fairly quickly.

but Anyway i like to wear ear plugs just in case i usual have them with me if i start feeling its to loud so i dont damage my hearing when im close to the stage it also helps with the sound quality . but next time try standing in the middle or in the back u might not get great visual but u will probably save ur self from the feeling of ur ears ringing if its such a bother. and always have ear plugs handy .
for now though i would advice to not wear any head or ear phones and not to over expose ur ears to alot of noise so they can settle i guess.

Thanks for the information. I'm going to wait it out a few days to see if it stops then. If not I'll go to the doctor.
