I signed up for the free trial and while in it I tried to choose the yearly renewal only to have an error saying 'You may not change your plan at this time'. I assumed once the free trial ended I'd be able to upgrade it but nope. I got charged for this month and, once again, when I try to upgrade to yearly I'm getting the same error.

I emailed support and the reply wanted the last four digits of my credit card, name and expirey, Im paying through paypal and there is no reason they need my cc info because I'm not asking for them to reverse the monthly charge, I pay through paypal anyways, and there is no way Im giving out that info just for haha's. I said this in the reply and asked again for them to look and see why I'm getting this error and no response yet.

Please take a look at my account so I can get onto the yearly plan. I don't want month to month.

With Paypal, don't forget to manage your active preapproved payments here and stop the monthly one:

You'll get a new one for annual (or whatever). You can't just change the amount or frequency of something existing; you have to cancel (and re-subscribe as shinryou instructed above).

Thanks guys, signed up for the year one. I dont quite understand the 'You can't just change the amount or frequency of something existing' since it's basically saying that's what you're supposed to do under premium membership status. 'Change plan' then a drop down telling me which plans I can choose and then a 'change plan' button underneath it, but whatever, it's fixed now. Have a good weekend!

It's a paypal thing. If you had done the original with a credit card instead, you could have changed it.

Actually I'm having the exact same issue and I use a credit card, not paypal. I'm still waiting for a reply from customer service, so hopefully they can fix before my monthly expires here in a couple of days. I simply want to switch from monthly to yearly to take advantage of the better rate, but the system won't allow it. Same error message as OP.

You can always let the month time out, as in cancel the renewal, and then just make a new subscription with the changed interval.

I guess that's what I'll have to do. I haven't heard anything back from customer service yet either. I've never had an issue before so I'm not sure how long it takes for them to respond. I guess im just surprised that they would make something like this an issue at all.

I'm a premium member. However i tried to upgrade to premium+. The website keeps saying "Sorry, you are not eligible for an upgrade at this time." So i decided to cancle my premium membership to see if THAT would let me upgrade to premium+. However that didnt work either. Would anybody be able to tell me how the f*** im supposed to upgrade? (if you link the link to the comparison im gonna scream, because that DOESNT work.)

I want to change from monthly to yearly, but when I hit change it gives me the error message "You may not change your plan at this time". Do I have to cancel my current membership and resub or is there a way to make it so when my next bill comes it is for the year and not month. Thanks.
