Not sure why, I dabbled in a few martial arts and served, very briefly, in the infantry. Also since handguns are just short of illegal in my country and I don't shoot anymore... I don't own any....And even if I did they'd be stored under three layers of locks with the ammunition stored separate and the firing pins pulled (gun laws again)

Just the same. a broom and some bayonet training might be enough to keep a baby horse with a knife at bay.

In theory. I also have bad wrists and am in poor shape. Who knows? I'd still grab that broom though.
