How would you get the fuel, though? Assuming, somehow, that it becomes legal to use a flamethrower. Even if you get a flamethrower, you can't just stick any ol' flammable liquid in it and expect it to work properly. .

According to the website only 2 states even have laws on the books. Maryland you can't ship a flamethrower but you could own one, while in California you need a permit. Of course you would need to verify the information with the state you live in. As for fuel they sell the mix and co2 tanks.

Personally it would be something I would want to try once but the price point isn't worth it to me.

It sounds fun to use one, TBH, but you'd need stuff to burn as well as an area in which you can control the flames.

True the one advantage of living in a desert is plenty of clear areas where the only thing you see is rocks and sand. My friend has a burn pit where he burns his trash once a month so that's where we're going to try it.

Florida being Florida it wouldn't be right if someone didn't do something crazy with a flamethrower in that state.

Here's an interesting twist. I'd torch your precious 23 foot monster body pillow WITH a flamethrower.

I reckon I could build one easily enough with common parts and materials.. they're really not that complex. So no, I wouldn't buy one. Would I build one? Also no, because I have no use for one unless I come across a giant smoker who needs a light.

If I had the money to buy one, I most likely would. If SHTF, it may have some sort of purpose.
