No and only if they were some sort of anime based uniform, not the generic ones but some of the more unique looking ones.

Yeah, and it's ehhh.
Last year we had to wear khacki, black or gray slacks with specific color polos (gag me).
This year we're still forced to wear polos, but they can be any color and jeans are allowed.

I did not have to wear school uniforms and I liked the fact that I could wear what I wanted to express myself

I did. Near enough, if not all British ones do.

Yep - I went to a grammar school and we had a very strict uniform code.
We were, however, allowed to take our ties off in the summer. I hated wearing a tie and I still do now - yeah they look smart but they're so uncomfortable.

Nope had to wear one in middle school though. well it wasnt a middle school it was a k-8 school, so i guess its considered a elementary school? (I went to an actual middle school for 6th grade but then we moved and got put in the k-8 school.) Anyway I hated it though since i never had to wear a school uniform before but glad they got rid of them 8th grade year.

The first year I didn't, but then a year after, they forced us to wear uniforms. I didn't mind, though.

Technically no but also yes.
I make my own uniforms for school bc I'm often in a hurry & can't decide what to wear so why not just use the same looking clothes every week for school?
I usually wear a button down shirt, skirt or shorts with stockings & converse. I do change up the colors of my converse & skirts/shorts though.

Simple & comfortable yet stylish

I did wear a uniform, yes. They were my pajamas. Home school certainly has it's benefits.

I wore a school uniform in high school.
The top was kind of like a rugby shirt. It was a charcoal gray shirt. Long sleeves for the winter and short sleeves for the summer. It had two white strips around the upper part of the sleeves. The school crest and motto on the front left side of the chest. The pants were black dress pants. You had to wear black, gray or white socks. And you had to wear black dress shoes. My school uniform was actually hideous.

Polos were either red, navy blue, or white. Skirts were either navy blue or khaki (same goes for pants and shorts). All girls must wear tights or leggings under skirts, and if the shorts were short enough, then we'd have to wear tights under the shorts too; no matter how hot it was.

I'd honestly prefer uniforms that I see in more asian countries.

No, we didn't have uniforms. I thought they seemed really interesting in anime until I talked to a friend who had a uniform at her school. She told me that the uniforms were expensive to buy but the material was cheap and not very sturdy. Then there's also the problem of if you spill something or otherwise wreck your uniform you have to buy another one which could be a form of bullying. If I accidentally spilled something on my clothes or got in a fight at school, I always had different clothes to wear the next day.

Not to mention that if we'd had a uniform I would have gotten in trouble for doing things to change it for sure. I wouldn't make the skirt shorter or anything, so much as I would want to wear pants during cold weather regardless of my gender and that I would have worn some pretty strange accessories and jewellery.
