Asian movies

I was looking for the movie 'Monster' (not the anime but the movie about Aileen Wuornos) in youtube during my break time and I came upon this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L64x_3bwWWQ

Even though it's described as the movie I was looking for, it was a complete different movie. Troll or not, I'm glad I clicked because it is a Korean movie and I liked it a lot. The problem is....it's not the whole movie I think it was only a few minutes away before the ending

Does anyone recognize it?? I like the actors and the script and I'm dying to know about the ending here >__<

If you don't know the title, please write your favorite asian movie so I can watch some more

Never mind, I found it....it is the same title lmao still looking for some asian movies though.

Afraid I'm not familiar with it.

Personally I like a lot of Akira Kurosawa's films.. The Hidden Fortress is good (One of the inspirations behind Star Wars according to Lucas. I can believe it, as certain characters are quite similar to a rather iconic pair of droids.), Kagemusha is also a favorite of mine. Most people are probably familiar with Seven Samurai, Rashomon or Yojimbo.. Ikiru was also a good one about a man trying to come to terms with the fact that he's dying.

The man made a lot of movies - he was a very busy guy while he was alive.

Ah, my apologies, Kurosawa was a director. You could think of him as a Japanese equivalent to Hollywood giants like Spielberg (coincidentally, also a fan of Kurosawa's work).

It's worth bearing in mind that the bulk of his films are from the '50s to '70s, so they're rather old (particularly if you don't enjoy classic or black and white films). But in my opinion several are worth watching even with their age, because he had such a large impact on western film.

A couple others worth mentioning:

- Infernal Affairs (the Hong Kong movie that The Departed was loosely based on).
- Hard Boiled (John Woo's last pre-Hollywood film, and Chou Yun-Fat at his best)
- In the Mood for Love (A beautifully filmed character study and romance set in 1960s Hong Kong)

My favourite asian movie has to be Confessions, directed by Nakashima Tetsuya. It is a rather brutal drama about a crime committed by some school students and the lengths their teacher will go to for revenge.
