I might watch sports anime if it's good, but I haven't found one yet.

I won't watch yaoi, though, since I'm not a junior/high school girl, I know what real actual boys are like having been one myself, and have no reason to find a comforting fantasy world to ease any terrified fear of them. The imitations are always a bit silly coming from the outside.

I dont watch Mecha anime and the other I dont watch sometimes is Shoujo. After reading some and seeing how its almost like the girl keeps getting molested by the same dude and suddenly shes in love with the dude. It bugs me and that why I call Diabolic lovers a soft core rape anime.

Historical.
I'd rather stare at a wall.

Ahh sir what are you reading ? Because I don't remember my Shoujo being like that. Sure there are a lot of Shoujo where guys are really physical but I wouldn't call it rape or any thing like that.

Man, people brought up Sports animes more than I would've thought. That was me too, until the second season of Kuroko no Basuke began airing like 2 years ago. The hype was too real I binged watched the first season the day before the second episode of the second season aired.

I think what threw me off about sports animes at first, was the amount of girls watching because they enjoy the bromances and constant stream of shirtless men. Thought something like Kuroko no Basuke would notice that and cater to female fans more yet that's not the case for most. After watching it, the fan service for men is quite high when comparing the amount of female to male characters lmfao. That aside, sports animes (well the good ones) are a fun and intense experience for anyone.

Ecchi hurts my eyes. I don't mind fan-service, but when it goes gravity defying levels like in High School of the Dead, it's ridiculous.
I'm also starting to get really tired of harem (the only one I've ever enjoyed was Bakemonogatari).

I never thought I'd watch a sports anime either until I gave KnB a shot. That also led me to check out Haikyu!! and Big Windup! (now two of my all time favorite anime/manga). I did also try watching Baby Steps and Yowamushi pedal but I lost interest in both very quickly.

Harem is horrible. I don't watch yuri or yaoi either.

I prefer supernatural, so I'll put up with a little bit of the aforementioned stuff as long as there are demons and curses and the like. But even some supernatural animes have far too much of that for me to enjoy.

Sports animes are on my do-not-watch list as well. They aren't terrible but they just bore me. Same with mecha anime.

I wouldn't say I'd NEVER watch it, but I'm most unlikely to watch slice of life/romcoms, that usual stuff. It just doesn't entertain me and it's stupid to me in general. Unless it's straight up comedy like Nichijou or very dramatic like Little Busters I'll never even consider giving a slice of life/romcom a shot.

It is a genre. Because it meant boy love.
