I see. We at the Blue Oni response distribution centre offer a sincere apology for the mistaken delivery. Here is the response you ordered:

I avoid sports anime. Never cared for them. I've tried watching a few, but gave up relatively quick. Just not my thing.

I can't believe there are so many unwilling to give mecha a try. It's the genre I absolutely hated, and now I'm completely obsessed with. Same with sports animes. Some are very great, some are not realistic, some very. Haikyuu! is amazing. Slam dunk is a must. Prince of Tennis, One Outs, Diamond no Ace, and a lot of others are great. Then Chihayafuru, which is a sports but also a josei is on a whole different level.
As for animes I refuse to watch genre wise.. I don't think I have one I won't watch. Being a completely constant and intense watcher I think I can only prefer to stay away, but watch a genre a least like sometimes.
It's very rare for me to even drop a series too, so I guess one I don't refuse to watch but would stay away from is horror. I just find it a bit annoying.

Loli-pandering anime, overly typical moe-sh**, cookie cutter-shonen. Some shonen are good though.

Nope. I take from the entirety of the landscape, even if I don't enjoy all parts equally.

Ah yes, I also look at anime this way.

More tropes than genres but here are some things that I call a boner killer
Jingoism- I don't like it when my entertainment does it to my country so I'm sure as hell won't enjoy it for a country I don't live in.
Marty Stus - My favorite characters are the one who keep fighting even if they have exposed an exposed bone so characters who get off without a scratch does nothing for me.
Incest- Why Why WHHHHHHHYYYY
Harems- Seriously all these girls want to marry this one guy, you are better off removing the guy.

The Super Robot subgenre of mecha anime.
It prominently uses my most hated trope: Monster of the Week
Plus giant robot in the hands of heroes and not usually the villains.

Everybody must have a mecha (still no giant, like 50 feet, ones, though), or no sell.

No Super Robot, Yes Real Robot

Other than Super Robot, I have no genre I wouldn't watch.

Yaoi, reverse-harem and hardcore hentai are definitely no-nos for me.

Yaoi and Yuri.

I would just like to say I have NO problem with homosexuality. If it happens in one of the shows I do watch, that's fine. But, I don't go out of my way for it. It isn't a turn on or a turn off. Just not something I care about.

the people who avoid yaoi in these threads are sad... sad.... people.

anyway, despise harems of any kind. i've only made like two exceptions to this rule and they sucked ass, except for like maybe one. but seriously, that trash is so contrived and obnoxious and when i see stuff from those types of shows literally it's basically all the same. i've also noticed that as i get older i get more and more tired of romances featuring heterosexual couples. they're just starting to bore me. so i'm starting to avoid those and unless they are completely revolutionary to the genre i'm probably not gunna seek it out.
