Words of wisdom to keep telling yourself, especially from what I've seen of you in other threads.

The McDonalds there are pretty nice. You can get some pretty decent food and McD's will deliver. Unlike in the US, the restaurant owners and managers pay proper wages and the cost of living is less steep (although it is rising). The paychecks aren't huge but it's easy to get around in Taiwan...you can often walk to a store you need to go to within 10 minutes due to the clutter, so a car isn't really needed. Taxis are everywhere. Food is cheap. Restaurant workers are also way less tip-dependent than here in the US because the employers are expected to pay the employees, not the customers.

cute guys, decent food, and affordable living

Makes sense that she's at the front.

It sucks that they discontinued the "LOVE & HUG" gimmick they did early this year.
I got a free meal, but my brother had to pay his.

I did not even respond properly. This guy asked me, "if you call your mom from your cellphone and tell her that you love her, you get any meal for free!" I was like checking around if there were any cameras then I thought, "if I do that, how are you going to get compensated? Like real money? You work here to get paid." I was stalling for time till his manager came over and just said, "just give the person the meal."

The next customer after my brother got a hug from the cashier and the manager. I was like, "where's my hug?!! I don't mind hugging the sexy manager."

Ah, bollocks.

I love how since it's McDonalds it gets big news. But, like at Abercrombie they put all the attractive models at the front. You don't see front page about that even though obv. the girls are 14 or whatever.

And I'm sure this girl @ mcd's is 18+ It says she's done lots of modeling, and her boobs are too developed for her to be -18. Also she looks a little like lilypichu

I was thinking that same thing.

Gathering from those comments; I feel like it's women who are most critical of other women... Like if a woman was too skinny it's other women that start calling that person anorexic etc.
It's the same with gays; so critical of other gays.

I don't see this with men; like men don't say other men are too skinny/fat rofl...

Let's just hope you have the genes for mosquito resistance if you go there during the summer. It is like a sauna. I had to shower at least three times a day and I was sweating as soon as I got out of my cold showers. If mosquitoes enjoyed my taste, I don't know what I would do. One of my friends got bitten 200+ times in less than a month. I only had five during my entire two-month stay that year.

All I can say is I wish every McDonalds had high standards like that lol Fast food doesn't mean the people and the place have to look like trash. And I find this less weird than the girls in Japan flocking to see a sexy gorilla at a zoo. No, I didn't make this up. And I wonder if I should have a forum topic about it if it's not there already xD
