Yeah. He ran with his arms out to the side like in Naruto and tried to teach himself some martial arts with double katanas or something. He tried to learn Japanese but was pretty lazy and didn't get beyond basics. He wore a conical farmer's hat to Japan and wore tabi socks with his geta sandals and shorts.

For the sake of all that is good in the world, PLEASE do not wear a conical farmer's hat to Japan. And don't wear tabi with your geta unless you're wearing a kimono. Do not run with your arms out to the side....it doesn't make you faster. And stop buying $50 wallhanger katanas and giving them names and actually trying to use them.

Is he a live now ? Because beside the cringeness of it. I think him having 2 sword is a tragedy waiting to happen.

He's alive and still very much into anime. He trained to be a sushi chef and actually seems capable of making some cool stuff. I think he also learned not to use stainless steel katanas from ebay.

When I was in high-school there were a lot. One guy went so far as to wear an Inuyasha cosplay just about every day he came to school.

Also I met one on a cruise, he was the son of the ships Captain. He had long greasy hair and generally looked like he never groomed. I met him in the gift shop where I merely mentioned his Naruto headband as a conversation starter because I casually watched Naruto at the time, and he became a broken record talking about anything and everything Naruto non-stop. I couldn't avoid him the entire cruise, he'd pop up wherever I went to talk at me about Naruto, and even when I was resting in my room he was on the TV's local cruise channel awkwardly sitting aloof on some steps during the cruises captains party.

The first one isn't a weaboo. Is ether obsessed with the character or like dressing like the character. That isn't any more different than wearing the same type of clothes every day.

The second one is what we call extreme fans. Aka the bad kind of fan boy. 3 if was me in your situation. I will have tell him to shut the fuck up.

Locking this while I read through. May end up closed because we do have other threads regarding weeabos -- or at least the term, and considering the term is often considered an insult, and some of the remarks I've already seen in this thread during a quick skim.

ETA: Yup, while there are a handful of posts which took the OPs request seriously and answered in an appropriate fashion, there are just too many posts which are folks goofing off and being dismissive or downright mean and nasty!! If I delete them all it's going to leave the thread in a complete mess due to recent bugs that happen when posts get deleted, and I'm really concerned that the problems are just going to come back since it got off to such a bad start.

Sorry OP, it wasn't your fault. I'm going to PM you some links to other threads that seem to have remained a bit friendlier about the subject.
