I have been using Windows 10 since July 29th, and have had only on complaint which has yet to be resolved. Every so often when watching YouTube, or any other video or flash related item I get this hideous noise/stuttering followed by the blue screen and a message ending in DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION as seen below.

It's not terrible, better than Windows 8 by far.. but it still has a lot of problems, so I would hold off on upgrading as long as possible. I liked that it was more desktop oriented while still retaining the mobile features that Windows 8 brought to the table, but I had to revert back to Windows 7 because of a bug where some software I was using was causing Windows 10 to not be able to boot. Not sure about games since I never played any on it, but the operating itself seems pretty solid, it's just a matter of waiting for them to get rid of the bugs. It'll be good in a couple years, I think.

Figured I'd have to upgrade eventually anyway. After a day, it doesn't feel much different from windows 7.

At least the new blue screen looks nicer. I haven't had one since upgrade, and I used to get them every now and then.

I've started reinstalling Windows 7 on the SSD I was going to clean install 10 on, and it was time to do a clean install anyway. In the mean time I used Get-AppxPacket *package name* | Remove-AppxPackage from power shell to remove various apps like the Windows Store, Xbox etc.

I have it on my laptop. I haven't noticed any "speed' improvements with it over 8.1. It's a bit more like Windows 7 in some respects. I have Office 2003 and it doesn't like Outlook but I don't use that anymore so I reinstalled Office with just Word, works fine.
Most everything I had on 8.1 works fine in Windows 10.....
A LOT OF UPDATES.

I noticed that if you use Windows Media Center, the fine print says you get to purchase it all over again. (Media Center NOT Media Player.)
I have a couple PC that I use for DVRs so I will not be upgrading them to 10.

I went back to Windows 10 the same day, because apps did not work and my browser reacted very late. Could anyone tell me, is it still in it's beta version ;; if so, when does the full version get a release?

I'd say that it is the best OS I've ever used. I haven't had any notable issues and while the improvements are minor, they are still undeniable improvements, and the UI is great.

I haven't had any problems with it so far. The only thing that I've noticed is my shut down time, and power on time are longer now. Maybe around 10 seconds longer.

I've heard it can sniff out pirated games and remove them.... Is that true?
No way in hell I'm giving up my copy of Custom Maid 3D!

Microsoft hasn't clarified, but I've seen a couple article that speculate it relates to the Xbox and possibly their other content (WIndows Store and Groove)apps. it also includes "unauthorized hardware peripherals"

I still like Windows XP the best. Haven't used it in a while but these new Windows versions are a headache. Especially the ones with the stupid app icons and sliding screens that won't go away.

The only reason I loved Windows 7 over Windows XP...is this....
