Probably the Sega mega drive(Genesis) as far as i had one as a kid (i actually had one of these before i got a Master system, Nes and Atarti 2600 lol i had a commodore 64 for YEARS).
I had so many games and played it so much. Heaps of childhood memories.
But the SNES is a console that i had alot o good multi player fun with with friends and its when i got into JRPG's.
Some of my favourite games were on Snes.
The PS1 is up there too becasue there were so many good games on it and i was in my early teens when it came out.
The Sega Dreamcast was one of my favourites. I really really enjoyed playing games on that. Classic games and it was so ahead of its time.

But dam even the Sega Saturn and PS2 i have plenty of fond memories of.

EDIT: cant believe that i forgot the Xbox 360!?? wow. One of the best consoles EVER! so many great games!

Gameboy Advance, I'll stay up late at night to play. Grind until my eyes cant take it anymore. My favourites will always be Pokemon Crystal and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

I don't know... PS1 probably for sure... because of Star Ocean & other great games that came out with it. Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Tales of.., Rival School & Etc.

PSP would be my 2nd... I've played so much visual novel in there & Japanese games that I got overload with it. It's not easy to get imported games and I wanted lots of Japanese games, mainly anime-ish games, when I was younger and PSP just gave me all of that. Oh, and Project Diva was there too.

PS3 is tied with my PSP. My love for action games had surfaced with this console... Lots of great games came out on PS3.

Honorable mentions are both SNES and PS2.... I love the 2d Dragon Ball games lol & other Fighting games and Mario Kart in SNES. PS2 is my great RPG machine from FFX, Xenosaga, and dot hack.

Lastly is the Super Famicom... Yeah, Battle City all day lol.

PlayStation. So many great games (especially Japanese RPGs), such as:

Xenogears
Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, and Tactics
Metal Gear Solid
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Lunar 1 and 2
Front Mission 3
Chrono Cross
Valkyrie Profile
Wild Arms
Breath of Fire III and IV
Persona 2
Vagrant Story
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Einhander

I'll also always fondly remember Game Boy and Super Nintendo because they were my first systems.

GameCube. Sorry, too young to be a part of the super early gen crew we got going on in this thread.

Super Mario Sunshine
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Mario Kart: Double Dash
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Mario Power Tennis
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Various Fire Emblem Games

Well, I could say SNES because of Mortal Kombat II and Super Mario World, but I won't even pretend that was more impactful than my GameCube'ing.

The Sega Mega Drive when I was a kid,but more recently it would definitely be the Xbox360, it's been out so long. Everything from Halo, Mass Effect, GOW, TWD, Deadly Premonition, Bioshock etc, so many great games and great memories.

Definitely the Sega Megadrive for me also I still have the console and games even now to this day, which unfortunately cannot be played anymore as it doesn't connect to the back of our modern day TVs

SNES... No words can explain the blissful pain of blisters and memory lane intertwining like a seed becoming a tree just to be chopped down for paper. <3

NES - My parents divorced when I was pretty young and I ended up staying with my mom. We went through some rough times back then when it was just the two of us. Playing Super Mario Bros. on the NES was one of the things that I felt helped us get through that rough patch. Just me, my mom and that damn underwater level that she always had to beat for me She along with that NES is probably what turned me into a gamer.

Xbox (original) - The console that turned me into an FPS loving machine. Countless hours were spent on Rainbow Six 3, Halo: CE and of course the one that almost cost me my first relationship - Halo 2 Played my first western style RPGs with KOTOR 1, 2, Jade Empire and Morrowind. Also got my racing fix in with Forza. Some good times were had on that console.
