Depends. How long were they lying?

I really want to be cool with it, but I don't think I would be.

I would be insulted from the lie. I know that it's hard but people should be proud of who they are and not keep secrets. If I can't trust someone with their identity, how can I trust them with anything else? I dated a liar before and that was a huge waste of 3 years of my life. No thanks, not again.

It doesn't matter.

For it to continue they would first have to come clean about everything, then I'd decide if I can trust them.

I can see why they wouldn't immediately start off the conversation with: Hi! I'm transgender. I definitely did not start off any of my dates with: "Hi! I am a woman. Do you like lady bits?". It makes more sense for them to tell you in person. I don't think it would really bother me because if I like the person, I would see where it goes, if I don't, I'll tell them so. If we have no physical chemistry, then that's that. It's like any other relationship. It would be super weird if the first interaction you had with a person before going on a date was to exchange information about your genitals.

I get where you're coming from, but from the nature of the question, it seems like they didn't even plan on coming out as trans. You kind of figure it out? Maybe it's their look, their voice- or some kind of giveaway. But that would definitely tick me off.

To me, there is a difference between lying and withholding information (which is just as annoying), the nature of the post implies that for some reason or other--- they have led you on to think they are a cisgender woman.

That's actually one of my greatest fears. I would consider talking to the person for a few minutes, maybe hanging out during the time we had scheduled for the date, but it certainly wouldn't be a date. Who knows, maybe we'd be friends.

To be 100% honest, I would think that was the greatest lie I've ever been told. lol.
No Shame! But I would be upset that I was lied to. Especially when I have no issue with that kind of thing at all.
