[Filipino Movie] One More Chance

Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha (Bea Alonzo) have been together forever.

Their love story started when they met as students in a university. Popoy was taking up Engineering while Basha was a freshman in Architecture. They have been inseparable ever since—they did everything together: eating, studying and/or attending parties. Their families loved them, they shared friends, they eventually worked in the same firm and their life plans revolved around each other.

There is no Popoy without a Basha and vice versa. In short, they are certain that they would get married someday and build a home together literally and figuratively. Architect Basha will design and plan their dream house while Engineer Popoy will be the one to build it. Everything is perfect.

At least that is what Popoy thinks.

Cast
John Lloyd Cruz - Popoy
Bea Alonzo - Basha
Derek Ramsay
Maja Salvador

- John Lloyd Cruz' acting was superb!, and I like Maja's character, too. I just noticed that Filipino's are stuck in Jdorama, Kdrama, and Twdrama now a days, so I think this time you guys should try watching this. I've never been a big fan of John Lloyd and Bea's loveteam. But, I surely recommend this. Try it once and you'll definitely love it!

seems good,
does it have a happy ending?

Not much a fan of Filipino made movies. You can tell by the poster that it's going to be the same damn thing that they show year in and year out. There ARE some good Filipino movies with refreshing stories but you rarely have those nowadays. Actually, we barely had any, period.

I know how you feel. But this one is different. I didn't expect that it will turn out good.

"Teen movies/ pure romance for the heck of it" are rarely good - no matter where it is made. I'm still highly skeptical. But to actually have an objective say on this, I guess I have no choice but to watch it, huh?

Hahaha! It's up to you, dude. I'm not forcing you to do so. I'm just recommending it anyways; so, yeah! And what like I said, I'm not a fan of those two, hehehe.. but I did like the movie :).

Coming from a person who actually watched the movie, I really appreciate it and it's not a typical Filipino script... It actually has a very clever outline. I liked it especially the well-versed lines of the leads.
