Worst just doesn't do Eva's ending justice.

Nadesico's was awful and god I loved that anime (maybe there was supposed to be a 2nd season?)

The Knight in the Area. Left nearly everything unfinished. Completely unsatisfying.

Imma maybe get myself in trouble here and actually go with Cowboy Bebop. Not really for what happened so much as that well the story to the whole show ends with... a Spike focus arc. As a story its fine I guess, as a finale I find it distinctly meh. Probably because I don't feel it provided resolution for anyone but Spike.

Original TTGL ending is way too cold, but the movie version fixes that up nicely so I just substitute that.

I could also bring up Code Geass but that's really not the ending's fault its getting to that point.

Martian Successor Nadesico? Sorta. They did a video game sequel, followed by a movie. As in, to understand the movie you had to have played the game or at least read a plot summary. Irritating as hell. The movie unfortunately doesn't really wrap up the series either. Apparently there were plans for a second season after that, along with a second season of Stellvia, but both were scrapped - supposedly due to internal difficulties at the production company.

Robotic notes (that robot fight wasn't as cool as i wanted it to be plus he should have picked frau.)

Seconded on both accounts. Frau best girl. But yeah, robot fight was anti-climactic, but realistic at the very least.

Anyways, one of my choices would be the second Chaika season (Can't really remember the first). The final fight seemed like they forgot it was supposed to happen and just tacked it on, making it lack a lot of suspense.

I say Btooom! because while it may not have had the worst ending of an anime I've seen, it was without a doubt one of the most unsatisfying. It may be because this was one of the first anime I watched that had a very obviously unfinished ending, that clearly hinted at another season to come, to really finish up the story, but with no such season to speak of.

Few things are worse than a non-ending that implies a continuation of the series that never happens or worse yet, the "We don't know if we'll ever come back to this so we'll just end it like there COULD be another season" ending.

I am going to try to not name anything that didn't technically get an ending because of issues with the manga or production.

1) Girls Monthly Nozaki-kun

2) Diabolik Lovers

I can totally respect that reason for not liking Cowboy Bebop's ending. Faye's development at the very least should have had some kind of resolution.

I didn't realize the TTGL movie has a different ending. I guess I'll have to watch it now, since I love that anime.

I'd say Aldnoah Zero. They just seemed to have lost track of what actually made the Anime good and gave it a really generic ending. Not deserving of a series of that caliber.
