In the iOS app, the play/pause and 10 forward/back buttons appear overlaid on the video that's playing. In fact, the play/pause button is right in the middle of the video, which is extremely distracting. When I last used the app, the play/pause button was at the lower left, below the video, but it's not there now, so presumably this has something to do with the update this week. I looked for a setting to change this, but didn't find anything.

Hi, I have the same problem and it is ruining the play back. Can anyone advise how to get rid of this?

This is part of the new control design of the new update. For more info see /forumtopic-915705/crunchyroll-ios-app-update

Tapping the screen should turn it off and on; at least that's what works for me.

That seems to work. Ah, negative space as a UI element; what will they think of next? Anyway, thanks!
