Life is fast-paced in the Windwake mountains, the main area of the Air Tribe, not counting the structures in the sky. It's quite cold, however most people from the air tribe say they don't mind it.

Lucin walked into the market, he was going to buy a new shirt, but when he got there the smell from a restaurant was to enticing. Lucin ran into the restaurant. I hope they have cute waitresses! and lots of food, I have some money. Lucin put on a cool face, and entered. He waited to be seated.

Daria noticed a young man enter the restaurant. Oh! A customer. She quickly made her way to him. "Welcome!" She said, flashing her best smile. "Table for one, sir?" The apron she wore to keep her clothes clean wasn't exactly flattering, but it did have a homey charm to it. Thinking of where she would seat him, she decided to put him at one of the window tables. He looked like the adventuring type, so she figured he would love the mountain view.

Lucin sighed, she wasn't an elf. This is going to be hard. Lucin talked in a squeaky voice "Uhh t-table for one is f-fine." Lucin look out on the mountains, They were beautiful. They're nice he sighed recovering the memorizes of the past, it only fueled his fear. "Umm O-one salad please.. Uh if it's not to much trouble." While he waited he gave himself a pep talk. Lucin! you're a strong guy, and I know you can talk to her normally, She's a girl, and she seems nice enough. He put on his confident face, and got ready to thank her for serving him.

Daria was slightly concerned for the elf. He seemed so nervous. It couldn't have been something she had said, so what was it? When he ordered, she couldn't help but think that it was surprisingly small for a guy his age. Usually, the customers his age ordered enough food for at least two. "Alright. I'll get that for you right away." She smiled again and went to get what he wanted. Because it didn't need to be cooked, she was able to get his salad in just over a minute. Dari walked back holding a tray with a salad and a glass of water on it. He hadn't said he wanted water, but it was free anyway and he hadn't asked for anything else. "Here you are, sir. One salad. And a glass of water. You didn't ask for it, but nobody's ever complained about gettin' one before." She smiled at him again. He seemed... different than when she had left. More confident, maybe?

Lucin gave a faint smile "Thanks for the meal." He noticed a glass of water, was given to him for free. "Oh, and thanks for the water, I forgot to order a drink." Wow this is hard, maybe I should stop, After I eat, I'll give her extra on the tip because I'm so timid. He sighed, It's not like he tried to be timid, but that's just how he came off. He started eating the salad, It was great, and the water really helped wash it down. When he got the check, he made sure to tip a little extra. If I keep tipping so much, I'll be broke. "Oh yeah thanks for the meal."

"You're welcome. Enjoy." Daria went about her business while he ate. When she collected his bill, she was surprised by the tip he had given her. It wasn't a lot of money, but it was fairly generous considering how low his bill was. "Thanks." she said, offering a smile. She had a feeling about him. Her curiosity wouldn't allow her not to ask, and even if her got offended, he had already paid her, so... "Say, are you from the Wind Tribe?"

Lucin looked at her What? Who's not in these parts? "Umm yeah, I was in a small isolated village, but now I'm a lone traveler, and I was in the area. What about you?" Lucin gave a nervous sigh, would that be a sensitive question, has he angered her? He turned timid "O-On second though, I uh don't really care, b-but it's not to be offensive."

The boy seemed so nervous again all of a sudden. "Oh, that's all right. I asked first." Daria smiled, hoping to ease his nerves. "I'm just like you, actually. Left home... three years ago, now? Been wandering ever since." She always enjoyed finding a traveler like herself while on the road.

Lucin let out a sigh of relief. I didn't make her angry "I hope you like your Journey." he tried to alugh, but when he did it sound like he was making fun of her "Oh, I, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that."

Daria cocked her head to the side. Mean it like what? "I didn't think you did." She wasn't sure why he had apologized, but didn't want to say she forgave him. It would sound like he had done something requiring forgiveness. "And I love it. There's nothing like the freedom of the road." She looked at the elf with interest."How about you?"

Lucin looked down "Its' quite lonely, I never really left my village, until a little bit ago." He noticed she forgave him she's pretty nice I practically made fun of her with that laugh. He sighed "It's just that I was never alone before, and now I'm here, alone. A traveler doing dirty work to make enough to get by, but nobody needs a fighter these days ya know?" He looked out at the mountains. "One day I wish to meet may people settle down, ya know? I don't like traveling, but it's what's called for." Lucin got up, "I'm going to try to get some half-off clothes, I sorta spent my money here instead." Lucin gave a chuckle. Laughing at my own life, it's sad, but maybe I can lighten the mood.

"Yeah, going it alone's not for everybody." It did take some getting used to. Maybe she could help him out by giving him some company on the road. "If you want, I could go with you. It's about time I left this town, anyway." She'd been working as a waitress for the past few days, so she had enough money for the supplies she'd need. Or that two people would need if they didn't mind having only the essentials.

Lucin smiled she seem so nice, but he probably shouldn't trust someone he just me, even if she was a girl, she was a human, and his dad always told him that humans aspire with demons. "Umm I don't want to burden you, I'm a mess, and I just got to town, I might stay a little bit. So uhh, if you're leaving it's not really gonna work out." His timid nature made him bad at lying, and it was obvious he was leaving after this meal. I feel bad doing this, but I simply can't trust her.

Daria couldn't help but be a little disappointed. It was always good to have company. "That's okay. And I was a mess when I first left, too." She laughed a bit, but it was obviously at herself. "You'll get the hang of it." She wondered where she would go next. Like usual, she'd probably just take whichever road struck her fancy. "Who knows? Maybe we'll meet again sometime."
