The beach that the majority of the water tribe lives at. The area is not as built up as Pyro island, however there is still a busy part near the center of the island. People live in huts the nearer you get to the beach, however.

The woman had a sword strapped to the side as she kicked the sand at her feet. Her hand clasped on the handle, she pulled out and pushed back in the blade from the sword. She was bored and somewhat irritated. What irritated her was unknown even to herself, but she just knew something was up and bugging her.

It was a warm day, and as Nova enjoyed it while sitting upon the sand, something caught her attention. Drawing lines with a wooden stick in the ground below her, she looked up and spotted a girl, thrashing the sand beneath her feet. Quite peculiar, she thought with a tilt of her head. Upon further inspection, she noticed that the girl also had a sword with her; it probably wasn't the best idea to go up to her. Instead, Nova continued to draw her odd shapes in the sand, trying her best not to pay any more attention her.

"Tch..." The woman wiped the sweat off her forehead and looked at the sea. She wanted to dive into it, but she wanted to do something first. Stop her irritated mood. Who knows, it might affect her hunting or her swimming. Sherry suddenly had an idea. She would kill something or someone on land first before proceeding to her usual water hunt.
She grasp the hilt of her sword and unsheathe the blade from it. Now she needed to find a target to slice and dice.

Out of the corner of her eye, Nova saw the girl draw out her sword. She didn't know what she planned to do with it, but it probably wasn't anything good. Nova wondered what the best plan of action was, should she run? Or simply pretend as if nothing was happening. To tell the truth, perhaps she was a bit curious as to what the woman was going to do. Slowly she stood up, using the stick to support her weight. Maybe she wasn't bad and Nova was simply overthinking it?

Sensing a presence near her, she glanced over her shoulder to find a girl getting to her feet. Her eyes half mooned had a gloomy tone and simply brushed off what she saw. It's not like she was going to do anything to her, she thought. Or at least, she hoped. She didn't like killing cute girls... except if they were mermaids.

(( ooc: sherry also goes for half mermaids.

Looking up, Nova softly met the other's eyes, only for a moment though as the girl turned away. She tilted her head, maybe she really had been overthinking it. Though that was what she thought, she couldn't help but feel a slightly dark air from her. Slowly Nova walked up to her, trailing the stick behind her in the sand. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to talk, she hoped it wouldn't hurt at least.
"Are you from around here?" Her soft voice spoke out as Nova stopped a few feet behind her.

Seeing her get closer, Sherry didn't have the intention to interact with the other, however she did not move from her spot. She glanced at the girl, analysing her traits. Something was off about her and Sherry could feel it, but she wasn't quite sure why.
"What of it?" She replied, rather rudely.

"No reason, just curious," Nova stated plainly. She could tell the other had no intention of conversation, so she tried to keep every sentence short. Perhaps this was the day her curiosity would get her into big trouble. Walking a few steps up to beside the girl, Nova looked over the horizon. "What were you looking at?"

For senpae
"Ffffuck." He hissed, clenching the sand between his fist while dragging an arrow from his chest. Tossing the wicked thing, he slumped his head back on the giant boulder where he sat, his back against the cold ragged surface.
Bloody fucking pirates.
He wanted to slam something, feel it crush under his weight and tear it apart. His rage felt like a spiraling wave, a roar of something hot and viscous. Forcing himself to take deep breaths, he willed himself to calm. However on the contrary of his anger that had shot up, it was hard to bring it down.
Cole closed his eyes, letting himself absorb the smell and sounds of the sea, feeling the waves disperse and roll towards his thighs, he could taste the salt. Licking his lips and covering his chest with a layer of ice, he finally calmed.

From the skies, she flew.
Desperate to get away,
there was nets attached to her scaly body,
and spears and arrows dug in deeply.
Finally, her wings gave out,
and to the ground she fell from the sky.
Fire engulfed her body as she fell,
and she landed not far off from that of the man.
She sunk against the sandy ground,
her body aching,
and hunters on her trail.

Cole sat peacefully with his lips slightly parted to take in shallow breaths. He heard the sound of wings, the angered voices, and thud of flesh against sand. From the corner of his eye, he watched the wounded dragon and hunters approaching.
Fuuuck, go away.
Noticing him, their eyes narrowed with recognition. "Esryn." They hissed, and he returned their hostile greeting with a roll of his eyes.
"This is our hunt."
Cole dug a hand through his damp hair, and swept his other hand in the air, gesturing them to take it away.
Don't want it.
Though still wary of him, the hunters dismissed the young man as they realized he wasn't interested their catch. They began to throw steel nets over the fallen dragon, careful not to touch its burning flames.

Wings sprawled widely,
they lifted greatly into the air,
and eventually, her mouth opened,
and flames scorched the men
as they had been distracted.
Immediately, she began to fly again,
yet the embracing nets held her.
Again, she shot flames through the sockets,
and the nets rotted away into embers.
When a small hole had been curated with in the net,
She engulfed herself by flame
and her human body had escaped through the hole.

He recognized her, as he did most people. Three months ago in the Ring of Fire, she had purchased a small urn from him. However, this situation was truly none of his business.
None of his concern.
Cole grit his teeth, and suddenly made his way towards her, picking up a stray spear and launching it into the chest of the nearest hunter. While the Hunters were distracted by the sudden attack, Cole gripped her arm, pulling her towards him and into the water. The beach had sudden drops from shallow to deep, consuming their bodies to their stomachs. Her skin was hot from her flames, scorching him. He tried not to wince, and instead stood his ground with threatening eyes.
"Want her? Step in and get her."

With the sudden tug,
her body moved with his
until she felt the rush of cold water against her body.
She was bare, with her hair and the salty water
covering the majority of her body.
Yanking from his grasp,
dark eyes illuminating,
she meant to yell and scold him for aiding,
but quickly realized that his help,
she was secretly thankful for,
and she cursed herself.
